This lens is great for portraiture and any photographic experience you want to use it for. Sharp prime lens that focuses very well and fast in most lighting conditions. It is also compatible with Nikons ES-2 negative and slide film DSLR scanning adapter. It does a great job scanning negatives and slides as well.

Perfect for what I needed. Takes great pictures. Close up pictures come out super sharp. Price was right.

Love the clear photos plus getting in close shots of tiny things not just insects, plus the infinity is a plus for night shots.

We've only had this lens for a few days now, but have used it for several projects. Very impressed with it. Photos are clear and sharp. The details it brings out iis amazing.

This lens is really good. . I've taken some awesome close up pictures. I debated on this lens and the the nicer twice the price lens. This one performs well and is really good for a beginner like myself. If I could do it all over again I would have gone for it and bought the more expensive lens because I think I will continue to take pictures and in the long run would have appreciated the more expensive lens.

One of the best purchases I've ever made! Ever since I bought this lens, I have rarely ever taken it out. I use it for close-up shots & this definitely does the job! When you do wider shots, you get beautiful bokeh. Highly recommend for anyone interested in Macro photography or even Portrait photography if you want a nice bokeh!

I like this lens. When I got it I could see the difference in the quality of my photos. I did have to get used to it but it has made my pictures better.

I wanted a lens for my Nikon D5600 that could handle close ups and this lens works great! I ordered it online on a Wednesday and it arrived Thursday, so I was very pleased with that. Looking forward to taking many beautiful pictures!

This honestly surprised me based on the quality and value. I researched many lens and compared them all. It depends on how you want to use it. If you’re going to take product photos, this is great but if you’re going to take pictures of scary/dangerous insects or animals, a longer mm lens would be best for you.

Matched to my Nikon 8008 easily. The lens motor is smooth and quiet. Am pleased with the close-up shots.

Wife uses this for photos of various kinds. All within the distance limits of the lens of course. there is slight vignette, but that is what she wants. Only because she is using a d750 though. Crisp clear images with great detail with this lens.
