    This was to replace the lens that came with the camera. I dropped the original and this was the replacement. It's made a lot better, since it is a separate sale item. I love it. Takes great shots with the D90.

    A benefit of this lens is that you can take landscape pictures and take pictures that are "more" close up in range. It is a nice lens to keep on a camera (especially if a photographer has at least two cameras).

    Didn't know and wasn't told that you had to focus lens. not a big deal. just wish I new. My other lens is slightly bigger, but MUCH heavier. It is my fault, didn't ask the right questions. I like the lens

    Great 1st lens purchase. Excellent range and quality at both ends of focal lengths. If you’re a pro maybe it’s not good enough but for most people you won’t be disappointed.
