Often overlooked in a DSLR purchase is the lens. One of the most integral parts of producing sharp, vibrant photos, though, is just this. This 18-140 lens offers an incredible zoom range without compromising sharpness (too much) at a very affordable price point. Would highly recommend for enthusiast photographers over cheaper zoom lenses.

I take lots of photos....from fast action sports to sunsets. This lens can handle almost every situation, so it saves me time and the hassle of changing a lens and maybe missing a shot!

We got this lens because of how many great reviews it had and so far it has not disappointed. You can take pretty much any type of picture with this lens and be very happy. Even has pretty good distance when shooting from far away. Would definitely recommend this as a starting lens for anyone with a new camera

I think this is a basic lens, you can travel with this one since is very versatile and will let you do a lot of stuff. The price is reasonable and i am very happy with my purchase. For portraits works okay but in my case I bought a 35mm lens.

This lens is really great with its tremendous versatility. It works really well for everyday and specific needs. You can take great photographs whether you are looking to be general or more zoom specific. This is a fantastic transitional lens to more powerful zoom lenses.

I bought this lens to go with my Nikon D7200 and I love it. It is a great all around lens that I leave on my camera. I would love to have the 18-300mm, but until I can afford that, my 18-140mm is my go to lens, Love it!

It's a handy lens that I enjoy when outdoors and traveling on field trips. itbthe idea lens between the 18-55mm and the zoom lens (55 - 250mm)

This lens is very easy to operate. I thought it was easy to focus on views! I would recommend for close shots and not too distant views. I use this lens most often.

As I am still learning this photography thing I still struggle to get sharp images with this lens. I like the zoom range for my everyday walk around shots and I have had some success with blurring my backgrounds. I like the weight of it. It is a good lens for a good price.

Used it this weekend as a good walk around lense combined with my 50mm at the Texas Mile. Worked great as a multi-use inexpensive lense.

I bought this to give me greater flexibility in taking photos at family events and on trips, etc., because it is nearly impossible to capture what you want most of the time with just prime lenses when you have kids running around all directions. This lens allows me to move myself around less and zoom in more to capture exactly what I want. I know it's not the fanciest or most expensive, but I have been very pleased with the results so far after using with my now ancient D90 it to photograph an easter egg hunt and a family trip to the beach.

I am a beginning photographer who just purchased a Nikon D7200. After much research online, many different photography experts suggested this lens as a must have for getting started. At first, I purchased a Nikon kit lens, but after seeing so many experts recommending this lens, I decided to pay more and get something that I'll be happy with in the long run. I am just beginning to learn how to take good photos using the camera and lens. So far, I am very happy with the results. I feel that this is the right lens for my needs long term.

Great walk around lens with a Nikon DSLR. Very light weight but solid feel and great resolution. The 140mm zoom covers about every situation.

I bought this lens separately to pair with a Nikon D7500 camera body (my Best Buy store was out of the "kit" version of that camera which came with this lens) and I have been very happy with the results. It provides excellent image quality over a wide range of focal lengths and has very good, fast auto-focus and VR functions. I'll get a truly telephoto lens next for the kids' sports, but this is a great go-to, multipurpose lens; perfect if you can only carry one with you say, on a hiking trip.

I recently purchased a Nikon d7500 camera body and chose the Nikkor lens for my basic lens. While I'm still adjusting to and learning to use the camera, the lens offers a nice zoom range with sharp and fast focused shots..... very pleased with the lens!

Usual high quality Nikon Lens with an exceptional range. Covers 18 to 140mm ( 27 to 200 in 35mm format) Works quickly and focuses rapidly.

I like a good all-around lens and this is not too bad for that. Good for close ups and not too bad for zooming in. This is not a telephoto by no means, but not big and bulky either. Only small complaint is that it does not lock for carrying/transport.

Good for beginners and I love this lens. This lens is good for travel as we don't need to replace multiple lens
