This lens is perfect for all middle of the road type of shots. Although it doesn't do super wide angle or very long telephoto, it covers all the bases for situations in between, and it saves having to lug around extra lenses. Highly recommend this for beginning and intermediate photographers.

I first used this lens when I bought my D7200 almost a year ago. I bought this one for my wife to replace the 18-55mm and 55-200mm for her D3300. This lens is sharp at all focal lengths and is a really great all around lens. I would recommend this lens to everyone.

I did not want to carry 2 lenses and switch them while on cruise through Panama Canal. This lens is great! It took closeup shots but could zoom in on that crocodile or iguana on the river bank. The price was great at Best Buy and I didn't have to wait for it to be shipped.

Bought this lense in a "bundle" with a Nikon D7100. Impressed with how solid and easy it to use with the camera. For the discounted price I couldn't pass it up. Great lense for the price.

I wanted a mid range zoom lens that provided wide angle to telephoto range without switching out lenses. It fits in nicely with my other zooms and I have been using it exclusively for architectural pictures I have been doing recently.

Loved the camera, but found we couldn't always get close enough for the picture or detail we wanted, problem solved. Enjoying the versatility and having it shipped saved time going from store to store to see if it was in stock.

I enjoy using this lens on certain pictures and the quality of picture it creates is just awesome! It's easy to operate and attach to the Nikon D3100.

This lens stays on my camera most of the time. The 18-140mm range gives me enough zoom for most situations. If you are at all undecided, just buy one and try it. You won't be sorry.

This is a great lens to have on your Nikon everyday !!! Don't forget to get a clear lens filter and a circular polarizing filter !!!

Bought this to have close shots & zoom. My son's first camera & didn't want to be changing out lenses all the time- this is a great compromise!

This is a wonderful lens for all-around photography, with the perfect zoom range for street photographers. The images are sharp, with zero distortion at the edges; how sweet that is! The pricing is perfect for this lens.

Well worth the extra money to upgrade from the standard lens that comes with the camera. I bought this lens and the 18-300. Love them both.

this is an good all around lens just what you need before jumping into a telephoto category like a 70-300. This is a great in between lens

My husband wanted a lens he could use for hiking so he didn't have to carry a wide angle and zoom lens. We just returned from CO and he used for the first time and was very pleased with it's versatility.

This lens is great because it means that you don't have to carry other lens. The lens can handle both wide angle and telephoto.Although, it would be nice if the telephoto were a little longer i.e. 200 - 250.

Best shots we can take from it i loved it , it can cover wide angle to far frames.

Love this lens although sometimes I wish I could zoom further than 140 but best lens if u wanna get up close as well. Only lens I found with close close and a decent zoom. Other option for further zoom starts at 55mm not 18mm like this one

I love this lens! It’s my “go-to” lens for most everything! No need to carry around a plethora of lenses if you have this one in your collection of lenses.

Love this lens - it gives me great versatility than my previous camera lens without changing. My other lens (55-300) gives me even more versatility for great distances. Love both lenses.

With my previous camera I had an 18-55 and 55 - 200. I seemed to have to change my lens regularly to get the variety of shots I wanted. This lens gives me the ability to take just one lens and get almost any shot I want. It lets just enough light in to be able to use it indoors at high ISO without the flash and still be able to stop action. The 18 - 300 would be even more flexible, but it is 2x the cost. I really like this lens.
