I've been traveling for 5 months now - this is my go-to lens for my photography. The photos are crisp and clear. It also has the range to work in most circumstances - which means I don't usually need to carry additional lenses with me.

Love love love it. Don’t need all the other lenses anymore. This one does the job for all angles. Loved it especially while traveling and up close photography. You can even get great bokeh with it!!

This lens can stay on my camer to cover every shot I want to take because it’s what I was looking for in an all-in-one Nikon camera lens. It allows me you zoom from wide-angle to telephoto to head shots.

Picked this up with a Nikon d5600. This is a great lens if you want to take photos of everything without having to carry around multiple lenses. Photos are sharp and the zoom range is good enough for a variety of situations.

This lens has been excellent for taking a variety of shots from landscapes to portraits to wildlife it is easy to use even for s novice. Using auto focus is a problem at times and the low light capability is limited.

I bought this lens when I purchased my Nikon D5500. I wanted / needed a lens that was between my current lenses (18-55 and 55-300). This was perfect. I can still get great pictures at a medium distance without the additional weight. Nice lens.

This lens has a heavy feel that can transfer into better photos thanks to the better handle. Good lens to start with. The only complain is the size, now i have to buy a bigger bag.. which is not really a complain. its upgrading. Love it.

I wanted a lens where I can just use one lens instead of the two (18-55 and 55-200mm). This perfectly suits my purpose.

I was primarily using a prime lens, a 50mm. I love it but needed a more versatile lens for everyday shooting. This lens covers everything! It's my new daily! I shoot with a Nikon D90.

by far my favorite lens ever...it is always on my camera. i have used mostly for family events. i can zoom out to get the entire group/room. i can zoom in on the cute baby. if i was going to have only 1 lens this is it.

I bought this lens because I used 35-135 which was not a digital lens and I could not be happier images are crisp and it is a good all around lens.

I bought my 18-140mm lens to get good close up action shots of my kids while shooting them from poolside or soccer side line when they are within 10-20 feet of me because my longer lense doesn't allow for shots taken that close. now I have a lens that I can use to capture team huddles up close and action that occurs just a few feet in front of me. Perfect for video live view

I purchased a camera some time ago, and I purchased the 18-105 lens to go with it. I have upgraded the camera body three times, and I use that lens for general photo shoots. I have been using a 70-200 zoom lens for special purposes, and I found that the optimum zoom was 140. The newer 18-140 lens was a replacement for the 18-105, so I purchased the replacement to not have to change lenses.

I have a couple of "standard" lenses, including an f/1.8 35mm, but this AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR is mighty handy for on-the-fly shooting, zooming in close or pulling out wide. I don't like having to mess with changing lenses, so this is really my favorite everyday, all-purpose lens. I do wish it were a little faster! All in all, a very serviceable lens.

I also wanted to buy this cool Nikon lens 18-140mm, thanks to bestbuy got a excellent deal with the Nikon dslr camera. Lens is exceptional with taking shots, perfect for any type of mode.

I do not know much about lenses because this is my first camera, but this lens works wonderfully. I am able to capture photos up close, but also zoom quite a distance

I needed a smaller lens. I have to Tamron zoom lenses that are great but are a little more than I need for vacation scenery shooting. This one fits that bill very well.

This lens provides a wide range of shots allowing the user in using it as an all around everyday type lens without losing quality and clarity in the picture.

This was a gift that went with a camera I also purchased. The zoom is great. My daughter has three kids and prom is tomorrow night. I can’t wait to see the pictures.
