This lens I can use for almost anything. It's great for landscape and getting close ups with out getting too close. I use it all the time.

Bought as package with camera. The total package was affordable and yielded excellent results immediately. You can't go wrong with Nikon.

Great lens for the price. It is nice for long range shots. Reduces camera shaking when I take still pictures and has internal focus. Good buy!

I really enjoy using this lens,its the one I keep on the camera 90% of the time.Focus is quick and very quiet compared to a tamron I have.It is the best focal range for most of what I like to shoot.This lens and a 70-300 tamron are all I usually carry.

Great all around lens. This lens does it all. Less need to switch lenses. Great picture quality. Very happy with the purchase.

Excellent for an all-purpose lens to go from wide angle to somewhat telephoto and retain decent image quality. Not as fine as a prime lens, of course, but for an all-purpose still or, especially, video lens, it's a good choice, albeit slightly pricey.

This lens replaced my Nikon - AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR Standard Zoom Lens as part of a bundle with the Nikon D7100. This lens is very sharp; definitely sharper than the 18-105 VR, which it replaced.

The Nikon Zoom Lens is absolutely amazing. Its a great product with simple use. I'm no camera guru but feel like one now.

Great lens that is always ready to take a photo of a child's spontaneous moment, or a honey bee working at a blossom. I really like the vibration reduction control feature. The lens is not heavy, so it is easy to carry around on your shoulder or around the neck.

The detail that this lens picks up makes it worth every cent! Easy to use and we are loving capturing some great moments.

I instantly see the difference in my photos with the lens, I wouldn’t suggest beginner portraits without it.

I got this as a kit lens with a new D7100. Overall it's a good lens, though slow. But when one can't afford a 2.8 zoom, one makes due. The lens appears to be sturdy and has no lens creep. My only issue, and it's on me, is that it's difficult to hand hold at full zoom.
