Using this lens on my Nikon 3400. Previously had the 18-200 but it eventually wore out after years of use. This lens is much lighter and a bit longer (18-300). So far it's been Amazing. Purchased a separate clear filter and hood. Great lens for hiking with.

I couldn’t be more happy. This lens has fixed the issue I was having with my camera, “constantly having the wrong lens on at the moment.” I was finding myself leaving it in its case too often, I’m a hobbyist coming from the point and shoot world, but this one lens meets nearly all my needs and I am thankful I made this purchase!

I bought the Nikon 5500 a few years ago before retirement and have been pricing the perfect lens that will allow me to just utilize one lens when I'm traveling. This lens is a bit heavy but I've adjusted quickly...it has never gone down in price and has WONDERFUL reviews from professionals to new users.

This lens is by far my favorite! I love that I can take a photo at normal perspective and also be able to zoom super close all with the same lens. The quality of the lens is wonderful no matter which zoom level you are at!

I have been looking at this lens for a few years and finally bought it. I wanted a lens that I wouldn't have to change and had a longer focal length than my current 70 to 200mm. I'm taking it to Kenya and I am happy not to have to bring two lenses and that I will have the additional focal length.

This lense does everything you think it will. It covers a wide range of zooms, wide enough to cover 99% of situations you will likely be shooting in. It could be a little faster but you should know that going in. Overall I recommend this lense as a good everyday addition to your favorite cropped-frame camera.

I travel multiple times per year and needed a lens for my camera to stop having to carry two cameras for close pictures and zoom capabilities. It works very well for distance shots in Alaska for example or does well for close pictures. I no longer have to change lenses or carry another camera.

Bought this lens to snap photos of my son's tennis matches. Excellent, fast focus and sharp images. The VR function was very useful for those times at max zoom on static objects.

One lens does it all, from a large wide angle (18mm) to a great zoom at 300mm with good f-stop control for lower light situations. I use this as my travel lens. With this lens, coupled with the 10-20 zoom and the 35mm prime I can cover any situation with my D3400!

The AF-S Nikor DX 18-300mm lens performs well with my Nikon D7500 DX format camera. I have used it on several shoots, and the auto-focus feature performs well. It is great for 18mm shots, and can zoom in for those close up shots at 300mm. Great lens.

Recently purchased camera and initially pleased with the results I've been getting with the 18 - 300 mm Nikkor Lens. I travel a bit and appreciate the compact and lightness of the D5600 camera and the range of the lens. Quality is excellent.
