Really a no brainer - a prime Nikon Lens under $200.00. Presently I use this lens about 90% of the time. Looking forward to some great photos.

This is literally the best affordable all around lens you can get for a nikon dslr. Easily replaces an 18-55 from a kit.
I always keep this lens, a 50mm prime (for the bokeh), and a 55-200mm in my bag. I have not found a situation where I needed something else.

This is a very nice lens. Took great pics. The only reason I returned it was because all my lenses start at 18mm and I didn’t like having to step back to get more than a close up so I’ll get something similar

I already have the 50mm F/1.8 lens and love it. I expected this lens to be just as great and provide more flexibility indoors. I am not disappointed. This is a wonderful everyday lens when you are able to zoom with your feet. Great for portraits!

This lens is good for various settings. It's not too wide and not zoomed in like the 50mm. It works good in low light situations and distortion is minimal. Bokeh however, is not as creamy on this lens as the 50mm but is still present.

This is the first lens I bought for my Nikon D3200. It gives you a normal view and is the first lens I recommend to new photographers. It has great low light performance at 1.8. The colors and contrast are great on this lens. It is also tack sharp and focus is great.

It was suggested I purchase this lense to have as part of my lense collection. Store demo of how to blur the background sealed the deal. Still getting used to the no zoom part, but overall a good choice.

It is a fast lens good for shooting street shots or indoors, great depth of field at all f/stops, and real sharp. Use on my D7000 and have some really beautiful shots of animals and skylines of atlanta with it.

Unbelievable quality in the images. It would be silly not to have this lens in your arsenal. I liked it so much when I bought this for my wife, I went back to buy a second one so we didn't have to share haha.

I've been using this prime lens for a few days now, and I'm very impressed with the sharpness of the images I'm capturing with it. The bokeh when using it at its widest aperture are very pleasing, too.
