Thumbs up for a fast lens! Indoor pictures are easy and quick without needing to worry about using a flash. There is no downside to this lens and it is priced perfectly. Works great with my Nikon D90.

There are some people in my family that always have their eyes shut when I take their picture, due to the flash anticipation. Tried several different things to avoid this, and this lens is the answer! No flash and great pictures with eyes open! Love it!!

Using a crop sensor, this was a great addition to get me as close to a 50mm I could get. Crisp clear focus and buttery blurry backgrounds!

This is the best lens for the value. Takes sharp pictures and I can even use a teleconverter and still get really sharp pictures. I would recommend to have this attached to the camera every time you venture out.

I love this lens with my Nikon D500 since it doesn't have an internal flash. Been using it indoors for portraits, pictures of the family, and pictures of the family pet. Takes very sharp and clear pictures

I was using the 50mm for shooting 4K video. Perfect for low light conditions. But it was cropped too close to the subject. This lens is also very good in low light, but gives me more room to get close to my subjects.

I have been running with the starter lense with my D3100 from day one. After renting this and a 50mm lens from borrow lens I decided to breakdown and pick this lens up for my main lens to use for almost everything I need.

I love this lens. It gives crisp images and captures natural colors which default lens 18-55mm can not achieve. This is a great lens for close up images. Remember this is not a zoom lens so it should be used for close up images

I bought this lens for portrait photography and I’m so happy with it. Great prime lens for beginners that delivers quality images but doesn’t break the bank in comparison to other 35mm lenses.

I had an employee help me choose this lens as I was interested in a lens that I did not have to zoom but would still take great pictures from a few feet away. It takes amazing pictures, very happy with this decision

This was the first lens I purchased for my D3300. I had an idea what it will provide me with but was blown away when I first got my hands on it. It's perfect for portraits, street photography and landscapes. Definitely a must have!

A lens like this should be a standard to every photographer's gear. Lens flares take on a whole different feel. The lack of distortion makes for simpler editing while capturing wonderful detail.

This is a great lens for taking portraits. The low aperture allows you to get really blurred out backgrounds, but the focal point stays super crisp.

This lens is the best bang for your buck! It is such an upgrade from the "kit lens" and will give you a beautiful bokeh (creamy background). It's such a great price compared to other lenses.

This lens takes very good portrait pictures. I haven't done any Macro shots yet but I believe they will be great as well. The lens is fast and quiet and takes very clear pictures. It isn't perfect by any means but for the price you can't expect it.

Every image comes out crystal clear! It is my favorite lens and it is on my camera more than the kit lenses. I looked into this lens for a while before buying and I do not regret my choice for going with the 35mm.

Couldn't be more happier with my purchase of lens for my Nikon DSLR. I've gotten to use it a few times now. Can't say enough about the quality, and for the price, this lens is a no brainer if you're just starting your lens collection.
