Great for low light outdoors

GREAT LITTLE LENS

Great overall lens

The low f-stop is great for low light and depth of field control. The only draw back with this lens compared to my 18-55mm kit lens it that you can't use it for macro-type photography. I'm not sure the exact specs, but it can not focus at close distances. I'm sure this is just a feature of a 35mm lens in general, however.
