This lens is renowned for being the sharpest from corner to corner in the world and has no equal by any brand. It is not a fish eye but a super wide angle lens. Recommend picking up the 3 year extended warranty which is pennies on the dollar in case any misfortune may occur let alone the peace of mind that if anything does happen it will be replaced.

My new favorite lens. This lens is tricky to get use to at first, but what a fun time it is having it. The picture quality is so amazing in the center and leading out from the center. Just like other lenses, it may not be so sharp in the edges, but this one can be bad when shooting trees and you have them in the corners at 14. Still loving this lens since my first day of owning it. I can't wait to take it to Tennessee and get wide shots of the scenery.

This lens is a legend and rightfully so. It performs as good as a prime in its range. Only negative is that it is prone to flare and does not take filters.

I use this lens with Nikon D850. I had 2 14-24 before using D3s and was really happy with it. But after i broke my second 14-24 and bought the D850 in October 2018, I tried to save some money by using Tamron 15-30 2.8 that supposed to have the best sharpness on the market. I tried 4 copies and neither one was centered properly. I returned all of them and ended up using Nikon 14-24. It's the best quality lens in super wide zoom sector.

Great wide angle lens. Less curvature distortion than the Tamron.

I bought this lens to use for landscape photography and some indoor some wide indoor shots of the interior of the restaurants I work for. I took it Ronny trip to MachuPicchu, Peru and got some beautiful shots. Probably the only negative things I have to say about this lens would be how heavy it is and the price. Besides that it takes beautiful clear photos.

I finally put in enough work to get this bad boy. I have been looking to get this for years and now I have the Holy Trinity package at my disposal. The 24-70, 70-200 and now this 14-24. I have no limit to what I can do with my photos. I call myself a semi-pro with benefits. This is an awesome lens. So crystal clear. I have nothing but love for Nikon lenses. Good glass is the way to go.

The best wide angle I've ever used for my Nikon. You cannot go wrong with this 14-24mm, very little distortion and excellent for landscapes. I highly recommend this lens for any commercial photographer, especially working with real estate / weddings / landscapes.

I planned to go to Fairbanks last september to photograph the Auroras Borealis, and I had to get the best Len for my Nikon D 610, so after to ask my very good specialist photographer friend I decided to go for the Nikon 12-24 f2.8, I got great pictures, and I brought to Mexico, very good memories!!!!!!!

I have been using this lens for over a month now and it is the best for cityscapes. The ultra wide angle zoom allows me to get shots of entire objects without any distortion. No matter if you are a beginner or professional, this lens should be in every photographers bag.

Some criticize about lack of traditional filters capability. I see this as a specialty lens mostly used at times when the exceptionally common circular polarizer filter isn't used anyway (sunrise/sunset/indoor). It's a pro lens, the higher price for pro equipment is not arbitrary.

I finally got the Nikon D850 and after some research decided to start my lens collection on the wide range. I picked up the 14-24 and I’m loving it! It’s a great combo with this awesome Camera! Read the reviews and they are valid. Lens is sweet!

In single word, it's the best in its focal range. It might be kinda pricey for hobbiest like me, but the joy and satisfaction on every single picture that this lense creates is worth more, beside this lense is too perfect to get replaced or updated with a new version.
