    I don’t know if I just received a bad lens or not, but was very disappointed a $1500 lens would turn out very poor and blurry pictures. Tried multiple times in different lighting settings before returning. I really wanted this lens to work for me, it has rave reviews by others. I found the edges to be soft and details were were nonexistent, my rokinon took clearer photos.

    Part of the Nikon "holy trinity" of 2.8's , this lens is built and works like the professional lens it is. It is very sharp at all focal lengths and has brilliant color. I have had mine for two months and have no complaints. Some people do not like that fact that there is no ability to attach filters. While I can understand I have not found this to be as much of a problem as I shoot primarily at night and these days everything can be done in post. This is great glass form Nikon and stands out as one of their top lenses for great reason.
