Very Nice Lens For the Price

Bought the lens for personal use and to have nice memories. I was considering buying the 14-24 Nikon lens but just wasn't thrilled about the price of the 14-24 lens. Read reviews about the 16-35 lens, was impressed about how well the 16-35 was reviewed. I must say that just holding the 14-24 lens was just a very nice feeling but the price just wasn't worth the lens for me since I don't do professional photography or anything like that. I decided to buy the 16-35 lens just before my trip to the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico and I'm really happy with the lens. I have a Nikon 5300 (very basic camera) and even with this basic camera I get some nice pictures. Overall, happy with the lens for the price!

I've only been learning about landscape photography for a short time and recently switched to a full-frame camera so I needed a full-frame wide-angle lens. After much research, I chose this for its versatility and adaptability. I've had it out on several occasions for sunset and sunrise photos and have had excellent results. I've also used it as a walk around in social situations and it performed well.

I purchased this lens online from Best Buy. I received the shipment in time and was glad with overall experience. However, I do notice there is curvilinear spot on the lens (which should not have been there since this is a new purchase). I am attaching a pic for review. It just makes me feel may be the Lens was returned/refurbished or had some repair done. I would be exchanging it for a similar lens but currently BB does not have it in stock. I will call customer care and see what can be done to fix the issue.

I got this lens for my trip to Hawaii and it did not disappoint me!! Amazing wide angle photos with next to none distortion on the edges or "bubble" effect. Very happy!!

No complaints except some autofocus issues in low light conditions. I shoot real estate and in dark rooms it does not always AF first attempt on the D750. Lightroom's lens correction profile does the trick to correct expected distortion. I do plan on upgrading to the AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8G ED (1.7x) at some point but for now, this lens is my go-to for interiors.

I love this lens I bought from best buy. It is my all-in-one lens. I used it in event, landscape and portrait photography. I never regret I own one. I like it as a zoom lens with 16 to 35 mm. Now, I don't have to worry taking group pictures during events.

I purchased this lens for wide angle shooting on full frame d700 and also for night photography. It accepts filters which the 12-24 f2.8 does not and 1/2 the cost. I was very happy with the results. Looking forward to star trails

Not built like a tank like the 12-24 or the 17-35 but much lighter and easier to carry. One of the finest zooms Nikon has ever made. Very pleased to own it.

This has to be my pinnacle of lenses in my Kit! It is the sharpest, by far of all the pro lenses I own, and I have a pile of them.. I bought this to complete the "Trilogy" of lens and am I glad I did... You will not go wrong with this lens, especially for landscape, but it is also great for a walk around lens also.

I needed a fast wide angle for real estate photography. Nikon's flagship 14mm broke the bank 2x over. This 16-35 is perfect. Sharp & Fast!

After reading the reviews and renting the competition the Nikon 16-35mm VR is ultra-sharp and lighter in weight. I used the Nikon 14-24mm and the Nikon 17-35mm and I am impressed with the sharpness of the 16-35mm. Buy it from Best Buy and get the price match and rewards points.

So far this has been a great lens. The first time I used it was on a trip to Alaska and it worked great. Paired nicely with my 24-120 f4 and 70-200 f4. Light weight, which was nice since I was doing a lot of hiking. Using on a Nikon D810 with no issues.

The VR feature is useful but a F 2.8 is better. The picture is sharp and focusing is fast with the D810 in a dim environment.

Got this lens for my Nikon D850. The lens is awesome in terms of wide angle and sharpness. The only thing that throws me off is the aperture. You’ll definitely need a attachment light, otherwise the picture is very dark. But overall for the price, this will do!

In the world of Nikon wide angle lenses, this and the venerated 12-24 are the top contenders. I decided on this one mainly because I use filters for landscape photography. Very pleased with the performance. VR is an added bonus that I don't use much. What I don't like about it is the plastic feel compared to the more solid 12-24. On the other hand it makes the lens lighter. Not a big deal and the only imperfection I can think of. Its a great value lens for the money. I use this with a D600.
