I purchased this lens to use with my Nikon D750 camera body. They work seamlessly together taking pressure off of getting ‘the shot’. Large glass has some weight but gives you and camera programs the most latitude in settings. VR helps when you cannot be as stable as you would like; not as critical on this as a long lens but a nice option to have. Provides all of the common lens lengths ( moderate wide angle to moderate telephoto ) in one package. I use it around home and carried it through Walt Disney World with family and got about all of the shots I wanted.

I purchased this as a gift for my boyfriend and at first he said it wasn’t something that he would use very often and asked if he could return it. But after he tried it with his Nikon and tested it in the back yard he was convinced not to return it. The pictures are amazing, really adds a whole new dimension to his photography. Not only is he using it, he bought a filter for it also ;)

This is a big lens with good performance when mounted on a D850. Focusing is very fast. Struggles a little to get accurate focus on close subjects. I also notice some CA at the edges, but Lightroom fixes that. Landscape work is really nice. Really good for low light. Very nice results when doing focus stacking. Would be 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive.

One of the very best lenses I own! It rarely leaves my camera. Also, Best Buy makes it easy to afford being able to finance interest free for their promotional period.

This lens does NOT come off my camera. It's an expensive glass but you get what you pay for. If you are choosing your first upgraded lens, do yourself a favor and purchase this. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed. From weddings, to portraits, to sports- I use this lens!

I have this lens in the non VR version and saw the new lens was on sale. It is sharp and easy to handle. This is one of the holy trinity of Nikon SLR lens.

Super fast autofocus and sharp images, especially in the sweet spot. The only drawback I can see is that it is longer and heavier than it’s non-VR predecessor.

A fantastic lens. I use it on my D500. Superb quality of a lens and pictures. I am hunting now remaining “made in Japan” Nikon lenses.

The only negative thing is it's heavy but amazing photos with my Nikon D810!

I was very amazed by this lens. It's sharp and quick on my Nikon d850. I like that it has a vibration switch too or the VR. The 24-70mm lens is always a great option because it practically does it all. It's a workhorse.
