I have used it to shoot photos if deer at my brother's place. Have to hide and wait for the feeder to go off then I am with in about 20 yards to take the photos

This lens is great. I bought this as a spare to cover the potential loss of either my 24-120 f4 or my 70-200 f2.8. For most jobs it is every bit as good as either. The 70-200 looks a little sharper and the 24-120 is the same. Besides that, the only advantage to either would bigger aperture for very low light. The in camera distortion correction (D750) does a good job as it does with the 24-120. I will end up using this a lot. Really like it on jobs where I needed 2 cameras mounted up with each lens and the extra tele reach is a bonus.

2nd one purchased, 1st selected by daughter taking photography in college and this one for wife. Excellent quality, clarity, features, etc. Both well pleased.

I find the focus on this isn't as spot on compared to the 24-120 that came with the d750. I bought this for a vacation and used it a fair amount. And haven't touched it since. Having the constant f4 on the 24-120 is worth more than the extra reach. The lowest f stop is just too high. I'm planning to sell this and get the Tamron 70-200 f2.8. So if you want an all in one wide to zoom, and you usually shoot outside in daylight, this will be great. But if you want to shoot at night or low light, or you need a shallow depth of field, look for one of the f2.8 lenses.

Have taken everything scenic, portrait, sports and wildlife. Photos were sharp and in focus. Lens is light enough to use freehanded without shake.

I recently purchase this lens for my Nikon camera and I love it cause it can shoot near and far pics.

I purchased this lens from Best Buy because of their price matching and rewards points. I use the lens on a Nikon D850 as an everyday one lens does all function. There are sharpness purest photographers out there but this lens will still produce great photos that can be manipulated on a computer for better sharpness and clarity. This is not a stock item at any Best Buy but shipping is fast and timely.

This lens used good,but it so heavy for me. The VR work very good, it's good to go travel and take a landscape picture. I used this lens over month, I think it is ok for everyone to begin learn photograph.

I wished I hadn't waited so long to buy this lens. The lens is some what heavy but the quality of the optics overcones that.

Bought this for a trip to Europe. I wanted an all-in-one so I didn't have to keep switching lenses on my DSLR. Worked great and did the job. Only downside is that it was a bit heavy.
