Pros: 1. perfect size for a 300 mm. 2. perfect lens considering the range, yo do not have to change lenses. 3. perfect with a tripod Cons: 1. Auto-focus is a bit slow. 2. captures some shake if handheld - when captured at high focal length 3. felt the clarity is much lower than 18-200 mm., had high expectation

I love this lens, keeps me from packing around a lot of lenses during the day when light is our good. VR works well and image quality has been great..

I purchased this lens with my Nikon 750. When traveling, it simplifies shooting. 28 to 300 mm gives you great flexibility without changing lens.

Excellent all around lens. The lens has higher apature then the older digital cameras giving a much better picture quality

after three months of research, i finally chose the 28-300mm lease. in deed you get what you pay for. it is the best lease i have every owned. try it wouldn't regret it.

For the price point, this is an excellent lens that you can leave on your body if you're out and walking/on a tour. You should still carry primes or specialty lenses if needed.

first time buy this type lens, good view and quality. nice to have one which don't need to carry another lens when traveling.

It did great. I tried it in low light on a D750 and it did pretty good. Took it outside and it did great playing hide and seek with my 4 year old.

This is a nice lens at 300mm and smaller than the my 200mm which is easier to carry

This was a good all purpose lens for my recent trip. I could shoot fairly close up as well as bringing the subject in from a good distance.
