    Purchased for a working photographer. She's tested it and loves the lens. No detectable flaws, easier to use than her prior lens, focus is accurate and at the expected plane. This is now her primary working lens.

    This is my first prime lens that I purchased for portrait use. I currently have a 24-70 and 70-200; which are also amazing, but I wanted to experience a lens with greater precision and depth of field. The lens pairs beautifully with my Nikon D800, and the pictures I'm able to capture are stunning to say the least. I believe this lens has helped me refine my technique, becoming better, while also realizing some of my opportunities shooting with my other more forgiving telephoto lenses. If your looking for a sharp portrait lens, this one is worth every penny.
