    Fabulous lens. Have used it for a year now, shooting mainly high school sports and occasional wildlife, paired with my D500. Sharpness is fabulous, and performance in poor light is far superior to other (higher f/) lenses I've had in the past. Even with the DX format camera, still long for some extra reach when the action moves to the far side of the soccer field. I've coupled it with the Nikon 1.4x teleconverter (AF-S TC-14E III) which helps, at the cost of some light and a bit of loss of clarity. I think the latter, however, just points to how excellent this lens is on its own. Super happy with it -- heartily recommend.

    I had been waiting for a price drop on this lens for quite awhile. When it finally went on sale a few weeks ago I decided to pull the trigger. I wish I hadn't waited so long. Wow. Incredible soft, creamy bokeh and beautiful, accurate colors. It is everything I've heard and read about it. This is an amazing lens.

    I love, love this Zoom Lens! It's great for Sports & also for anything you'd like to shoot with a Zoom Lens Outside! I did photos of an Outdoor Graduation with 1000 Graduates! The photos turned out great !
