Excellent lens I have been using it for a few weeks now and capture some amazing shots.

Had had the 2.8 lens on my wish list for a long time. After seeing that Nikon offered this lens I decided on it, since there was $1000 price difference. I have never used the 2.8 lens, but am very happy with the 4.0.

This is my go to lens when i'm at the Zoo or anywhere outdoors. The pictures look as though you'er looking thru glass.

I would definetly recommend this lense to every professional photographer especially the ones who specialize in wedding photography! Amazing!

Decent alternative to 70-200 2.8 if you don't mind one stop slower. Lens is quite Sharp, actually coming quite close to the 2.8 at a much lower price, and a lot less weight.

Tested this against my current 80-200 2.8 AF-D, and against the Canon 70-200 f/4 and results showed the Nikon 70-200 f/4 as slightly sharper than both. Focus seems very fast. So far so good.

the lens worked great. easy to attach and for the price absolutely terrific.

I love this lens. I use it on a D750 and D5300. The auto focus on both cameras is fast and accurate. The photos are tack sharp at every zoom range. The vibration reduction works very well when hand holding. The VR combined with the D750 works very well in low light situations.

This is the main lens I use on a D750. It makes an amazingly lightweight, do almost anything package. The high ISO capabilities of the D750 with this F4 lens make for an effective combination in less than ideal lighting.
