    Very good lens that takes great images. Useful for getting nature shots and responds quickly to rapid movement. Love the one click autofocus enabling you to pick which plane of field to focus.

    The makeup of the lens is virtually identical to that of the 18-200VR lens -- three switches for MA/M, VR on/off, and VR normal or active. Large outer ring for zoom, and smaller ring for focus. That's it. Comes with a nice instruction book rather than just the fold-out specs sheet so that new users can quickly and easily learn how to use the VR technology on the lens (and when NOT to use it). Also has a lens hood and a softcase in the box.

    Bought to have a long zoom to go with my 24-120 lens. Price was right, delivered promptly. Fast, and sharp for the price. Would recommend to anyone with FX sensor body or anyone with DX body who intends to upgrade to full size sensor. (FX)

    Very pleased with the lens. Best Buy was very competitive with pricing and warranty. Easy to use, but takes a little getting used to the extra weight. Pics are very clear, even when playing sports.
