A great lens for wildlife photography. Great quality, sharp and crisp..

This lens has become a favorite with my D3300 camera - really pulls in the distant image - VR is amazing - can shoot handheld lunar shots with great detail. Highly recommended.

I got this lens as part of the Nikon D750 package so the price came out to <$400. I used it for a lot of nature photography and the distance for this lens was very good. I scored excellent not for the quality of the lens per se, but more for the cost/value of the lens. Clearly not a $10,000 lens, but does quite nice.

This is a great sense for wildlife photography. I already had 18-140 mm and this addition is awesome and I can clearly see a huge difference in the telephoto feature with 70-300, perfect for wildlife photography. Compatible with D7000.

I may be misinformed, however, I have received several compliaments on photographs taken with this lens. I use this lens alot. (The moon photo was cropped)

This is a great lens for beginners to use on their new Nikon D3200. It's easy use to put onto the camera and easy to snap pictures far and away. My only complaint about this lens is the weight. It is a big lens and is heavy, but I didn't tote it around unless I knew I was going to use it. I love the bag it comes with for easy storage.

This lens is all purpose , used for landscape an close ups on wild life. Very sharp pictures, not too heavy, silent motor ! Like it.

Wanted a good quality telephoto zoom lens in the 70 -300 mm lens to use with my new Nikon D7100. Great value for the price as according to research I've done you would have to step up to an over $1000 zoom lens in this focal range in order to get better photo quality. As an added benefit this lens was designed for a full frame camera, so in the future if I decide to step up to such a camera, I can still use the lens.

This lens is a very good purchase, but a little pricy for me (I am a amateur in photografy).

This is a really good lens, but it lacks the shorter range I needed so I exchanged it.

This lense is awesome! it focuses super quick on moving objects and the 300mm is such a far zoom it is very nice to have!
