The Nikon was just what I was looking for. A camera that was easy to learn how to use; it was small in size, not bulky. I love the silver color.

I bought this camera partly because of Nikon's reputation and my previous positive experiences with Nikon cameras. The view screen on this one was low resolution and hard to look at. The photos appeared to be of good quality if viewed on a cell phone or laptop screen. However the camera would lock up and become unresponsive at times, and the only remedy was to remove the battery, put it back in and turn the camera back on. I returned this camera for a more expensive one. Kudos to Best Buy for allowing me store credit even though I returned it after the 15 day deadline (I was on vacation for two weeks attempting to use the camera).

Extremely compact camera but lots of storage space on memory card. Able to take sharp photos quickly and quitely

The Nicon Coolpix is compact so it's easy to carry in your pocket or purse. It is easy to use and takes great pictures.

I didn't read the manual, and I'm still learning how to use the camera. It is user friendly. I took great pics at my nephew's graduation. I located him in the procession, zoomed in and got a great picture of him several feet away.

Directions on use are not easy to follow. Lots of options.

This is my third Coolpix camera, so I think I know how it should work. After about forty pictures I had to come to the conclusion that it is defective. The toggle switch (left/right, up/down) does not function right and when trying to take a snapshot, the camera defaults to video mode, taking a movie of something sitting perfectly still. Well, the good news is that there is a one year warranty. Nikon has already sent me an email for return to them for repair. I will say, after all the electronics have have purchased over the years, this is the first time I have ever gotten a "Lemon". Darn.

Light weight, easy to use and fits right in a small purse. Perfect for vacation pictures.

Great little camera that takes crisp pictures. Got this for my teenager because he was interested in photography and he likes it. We now have lots of pictures of our dogs and some shoes. We purchased the accidental damage plan with it as well but the camera is pretty sturdy and we haven't had to use it. Yet.
