I liked the camera but ultimately returned it for another brand. I liked this one a lot, but the other one I got had all the same features, except the tilting LCD screen, and was considerably less expensive because it was on sale.

This camera is replacing a 10 year old Pentax which is still working well but has taken thousands of pictures and is outdated and worn. The Nikon A900 I just purchased is great everything you sales staff promised and more I can hardly wait for a good trip to use it on. 800 perfect frames to date!’

But I really didn't need another bridge camera, so I traded it up to a lightweight mirrorless, interchangeable lens camera with a weatherized magnesium body frame and a solid lens cap to protect the lens when out hiking. The Nikon 900 seemed easy enough to learn to use.

Like the camera for the quality of the Pictures considering the volume of it. Fits in my purse and there's an auto mode. There are many functions to it but I haven't studied yet. I would suggest getting an extra pack of batteries. Enjoy, it's a great camera.

This should be a great camera. The zoom is amazing. It's easy to use. The problem is that it failed during a trip to England. The shutter simply locked up. This is, apparently, not uncommon with this model. Advice: don't risk buying this otherwise attractive camera. It may fail when you'd need it most.

Good for someone who is knowledgeable with cameras and difficult for someone who isn't. With the additional gadgets and adjustments made it difficult to operate, resize, crop, upload and edit photos to post on internet. I spent more time with this camera than with a point and shoot.
