Bought this camera to use on vacations. Loved it. It was perfect for beach vacations. Was able to use it underwater without any issues. Took some awesome pictures while doing snorkeling

Bought before tropical vacation for beach, snorkeling and scenery photos and videos. Overall pleased with results. Auto exposure in bright daylight isn't the greatest, but still way better then cellphone. The wifi file copy is not working so well with large number of pics or large video files to transfer.

I use this camera to film YouTube videos and it does a great job. After switching to this camera after my camcorder bit the dust I have had several comments about how good the video quality is.

This is my 4th waterproof camera. The first was a Sony Cyber-Shot that cost $200, I loved, and lasted 3 years of vigorous use. Eventually the door didn't quite stay shut and it ended up getting water in it. I saw it coming but didn't see a way to prevent it. The picture quality was phenomenal, and if it were still on the market I would have bought another. The next two I purchased was a Ricoh WG-20 I purchased for my son 3 years ago, which still works though I was rather disappointed with the picture quality. It was built rugged and I'm sure it will last for several more years. The third was a Canon I purchased my son to replace the Ricoh because I was disappointed with the image quality, which worked much better, he still owns, and he still uses 3 years later. This is the 4th which I purchased to replace my broken Sony, and it is the worst. It had good image quality, but it was by far the most expensive, and lasted 1 year and 2 months of light use. I've used it in water about 5 times, and already the seal is no good. It gets insanely foggy on the inside if it goes anywhere near water. I've attempted to clean it out 5 times with a Q-Tip, I've dried it out multiple times with a hair dryer, and it just will not work. I'm going to completely dry it out in a vacuum oven when I get a chance, but even still, I'll have a mediocre camera for dry land at the end of the day, which is definitely not what I paid $370 for. I'm going to call Nikon and see if there is anything they can do for me, but I have low hopes. Their website seems quite tough on their 1 year warranty, and I'm not even two months outside of that warranty. The first time I used the camera was exactly 1 year before I discovered it no longer kept a seal. I attached a photo the camera took as moisture began to coat the inside of the lense. It's really disappointing and I now have no way of documenting my snorkeling trip. Even if Nikon offers to replace the camera, which I doubt, it won't help me document my vacation.

This is my second Nikon waterproof camera that works great. I have an olympus waterproof camera and it has a bad delay where this one has a quick shutter to catch the picture you want.

Setup and operation was easy, need to buy a memory card as it doesn't come included. It was very easy to setup my smartphone and tablet to get WiFi signal from camera.

i love the camera its is replacing a Panasonic DMC ft6 which is a great camera but i like the features and pictures better on this camera i have not used it under water yet but plan to do so soon its cool now only 85f here in fort Lauderdale i will wait till it warms up some of the things i like better on this camera are wide field of view take a picture while you are making a movie pause the movie and resume which is a great feature for me made well great picture and movies and great sound in stereo a great camera i have not dropped it yet ha ha ha and i hope i wont Richard in the tropics

Bought this for trip to Cozumel. Worked in the water, good pics and wifi transfer is easy.

It is only a point and shoot camera. Only limitation is low light action shots tend to blur. All other applications that I have asked of it, it preformed as expected.

Best waterproof travel camera I've ever had! Easy to use, great photos, travels well, light weight - we haven't had any problems with it! Money well spent!!!!!!!

Like most underwater cameras, the better the lighting the better the shot, but this camera produced some really good photos of manatees when I took it snorkeling.

The battery life is very good, the picture quality is great. Takes nice underwater pictures too. I would definitely buy it again. Very happy with it.

I love this camera, I'm a photographer and got this camera to take underwater pictures during a trip to Hawaii , the pictures turned out great.

Purchased for upcoming vacation and have yet to use around/in water. Pictures taken so far are of good quality and the wifi feature is excellent.

Easy to use, full of features, high quality photos. Worked great underwater on a recent Caribbean vacation.

I bought this camera because my family was getting certified in scuba, and I wanted to be able to capture our time underwater. This camera takes pretty nice pictures. I compared several brands before I chose the Nikon, and I am not disappointed. It has a filter that cuts the blues, and although the shots aren't as great as an SLR, it is fun to capture shots in and around the water and not have to worry about getting the camera wet. It has a GPS system that tells you where the shot was taken, as well as a depth reader.

Great all weather camera with wifi and GPS. Downside is there is no way to charge the battery without opening the case

This is a great camera. There are advanced features for the more skilled photogs but it's pretty simple out of the box. Only drawback is the screen is hard to see in the sunlight.

Have not used yet. Gave as a gift. The sale person in the store was very helpful in comparing three different models of waterproof cameras. I was a little frustrated that I could not buy the accessary combos that were offered online.

I took the camera on a snorkeling trip and was able to take some Amazing underwater photos. The camera never leaked. I would recommend it!
