My 19 y.o loves this camera the wifi and is easy to use

Simple to use, yet feels and works like a pro. get one

If you are starting out with photography it is a decent point and shoot camera. Modern phones will produce around the same if not better images. I do like the optical zoom on it over digital zoom. It takes it a while to focus on an object. For recording video it does a pretty good job keeping it stable. The app you can use is the worst part. It's probably because I don't have the most top of the line phone but I found it really slow to zoom and there was a huge delay between moving the camera and the image on my phone. (I get there will be lag but half second and longer is a rather big delay) Overall I personally found it unimpressive but for under $300 it is a decent camera to consider if you want to get into photography.

Have had olympus cameras in the past. my large lensed olympus crapped out so I tried this camera. Had a little learning to do about the differences but once I figured it out,camera worked great on indoor pictures. hope the outdoor ones will look the same.

Purchased this to fill in while my D40 was out of service. Was cautiously optimistic, but really pleased once I put the B500 to work. The versitality of the movable display, combined with Nikon’s great picture quality make this my go to camera fo4 the next investigation.

It takes great pictures but def not good for the long run. It uses regular AA batteries and it eats them up like crazy! Other than that it is a great camera for pics and short videos. If you can do with the constant battery change then it's great for the prize

The camera takes some amazing pictures, the batteries last a very long time and the build quality is excellent. But I bought this camera because supposedly I could connect it to my Ipad wirelessly and download the pics & even control the camera remotely using the Nikon SnapBridge app. Total fail with that app, it just does not connect and nobody online appears to have a solution. Other Nikon cameras I saw have big issues with SnapBridge. It will connect to a Microsoft Windows PC with no problems with the cable and thats the only reason I will not return it.

It is a fantastic camera for a beginner, I'm enjoying it at every place that we go and capture a great moments and places with a great image. The price that we spend on it,whort it,I fully recomend it for a beginner and all people that are atractive to take an amazing captures.The price make Us happy.

I have really enjoyed this camera. After I purchased it and used it, I read that it was chosen the 2016 best point and shoot camera - now I know why! I am fortunate I came across this camera - it has been worth every penny! If you're looking for a no fuss camera with great quality pics, buy this one!

Great camera for the price, runs on AA's and will last all day on one set. Older iterations of this camera have had battery pack problems, so the switch to AA's was good in that regard but still feels like a step backward. Also keep in mind is has no optical view finder, only the screen. Regardless, great camera.

I bought this for a starter camera when I became interested in photography. Easy to use and gave me some amazing images!! Absolutely loved the adjustable LCD screen. It allows you to raise the camera above a crowd and adjust the screen to point downward and see everything in the image.

Bought this camera to take on vacation. I wanted a point and shoot with a longer zoom to get closers up shots. This camera supported my needs. The only downside, as with all point and shoots is the slower shutter speed, but I was okay with it because I didn't want to carry my DSLR camera and extra lenses.

Takes good pictures, most controls easy to use, still getting used to, haven't mastered all of the settings. So far very satisfied with purchase. Easy to download pictures to computer

The subject of the first photos taken with this camera was a Filipina girlfriend and the pictures are incredibly beautiful. I am giving her a set of prints the next time that I see her. As soon as I get used to the location of all of the buttons on the camera, it will be very easy to use.

Got this camera for my little sister for work and she loves it. Very easy to switch to different modes and picture quality is great.

My daughter wanted a smaller camera to take to Church, and other places to take pictures of activities that she is involved with. The one thing that she is not happy with it does NOT come with a battery charger. The camera takes AA batteries. That can become quite costly .

Upgrading from the Coolpix L110 (which was left behind at a school event). I decided I am not ready for the expense of a DSLR. This camera was a nice upgrade from my last, especially with the WiFi! I think the pictures are an improvement over my iPhone 6plus. Easy to use!

I had a Nikon coolpix 6500. Will need to find a camera shop to replace the internal chargeable battery as it’s still a good camera except for that. Went to go on vacation only the night before to find the battery wouldn’t take a charge.
