I like this camera, but I'm not in love. I do love the color though. I wanted something for a greater distance than the small point ad shoot versions. I also wanted regular AA batteries since it thought it would be annoying to have to charge the battery constantly or buy a spare. This way, I carry around a bunch of AA batteries and I feel in control. When traveling, access to electricity is not always dependable. I thought you could take selfies with it, but you can't and it's a bit heavy and certainly won't fit into my bag. What's good about it: the price, the color, the long range telephoto, the lens cap that comes with a string so you won't lose it, and the size of the buttons, which fit your fingers better than the small cameras do. Would I get it again? I think so because on the whole, it has more of what I what than other cameras.

I owned an older version of this camera years ago then upgraded. I am now back with the newer version of it and love it more than ever. The zoom is amazing, action shots for sports are perfect and it is easy to carry around.

This Nikon camera is a really nice camera I went to Tennessee for the first time and I took this it takes amazingly far away pics clear

Love the plum color. Takes great pictures. Have to get used to the light weight when taking photos and make sure it is steady so photos don't come out blurry. Overall, good camera for a good price.

nice to have telephoto and regular lens all in one lens. a little clumsy to hold as we were used to a full size SLR camera and this one is much smaller. easy to use; however, it does not come with a full user manual (over 150 pages) which has to be downloaded to really learn the camera.

I bought this for some trips I'm taking this summer. My old camera just wasn't cutting it anymore and wanted something with a little more substance than a pocket camera. I've only taken a few practice shots so far. The pictures are beautiful. Can't wait to "practice " some more.

I love this camera. The color is highly identifiable should I misplace it. It is easy to use. We passed it around my daughter's wedding. Everyone took a turn taking pictures. It was great.

I needed a camera to have at my kids football games and cheer competitions. I am by far no professional but I do want quality pictures. So far so good. I have not printed the pictures out to see the quality but looking on the screen they look like they will be nice picture

Awesome camera for a beginner once you learn how to use it! My daughter wanted to step into the life of a photographer, one of her many hobby dreams. I bought the camera for her to try out at our family reunion this year, and she caputured some awesome pictures! Thanks.

I purchased this camera to take pictures of my daughter but ended up using it for so much more! Its perfect for weddings or any day! The picture quality is excelent! Great buy and I love the color!!!

purchased as an upgrade for my wife. This little guy does so much, I find I grab it when heading out for vacation rather than my much more capable D4s. Why carry a 25lb photo kit to take snapshots of nature?

Bought this camera for my daughter who is interested in learning photography. This is a very advanced digital camera and is great for the beginner, before investing in the DSLR's. Menu's and features are very similar to the Nikon DSLR's. Will make the transition much easier.

Bought this as a gift to replace a camera for my sister. Great features and affects, with an on board menu to show you how to use it. As a beginner camera it may seem overwhelming, but you would gain loads of experience, and pictures, before you grow out of this one.

I bought this camera largely because of its size, but got far more than I bargained for. It is equipped with high end technology and makes sharing your photos easier than you have ever dream of. Highly recommended!

This was a gift for my wife and I have to say she absolutely loved it!! We took it on our road trip to Mexico and it worked great. My wife had a great time using this camera. It shoots great pictures and the video is pretty good too. We are both very happy with this purchase.

Its a camera to start your journey in photography, I really like the quality but if you can waste a little more go for a better camera

This is a great camera for beginners. I'm used to 35mm with a viewfinder, but decided to try digital. Glad I did and glad I picked a Nikon. I'm getting use to no viewfinder, my pictures surprise me with the quality. I would recommend this camera to anyone.

I bought this camera for my upcoming trip out west, and I am excited to try it out! I have been practicing and playing around with it at home and its very user friendly and easy to use. I am a little bummed that the Nikon Snapbridge App isn't available for iPhone yet. Hopefully it will be soon!

I got this as a gift for my 15 year old daughter who wants to get into photography.

This is an amazing Nikon camera. This has most of the features of the more expensive Nikons. Pictures are clear, the zoom is flawless. This is a good camera overall for the price point. I would definitely recommend.
