Purchased this instead of the S9900. I have both S9700 and S9500 and love them. The B700 has great clarity even with the expanded zoom. Easy to use in all modes; just don't like the night-time photos, Other than that, recommended.

Easy to use, great battery life (2+ days of non-stop shoots without a charge). Quality images, good stablization. Con: issues with Bluetooth/wifi connectivity, plus, this is a battery drainer. I disabled during my vacation.

I love this Nikon camera. It’s easy to use and takes fantastic photos. I also love the new SnapBridge app from Nikon so my photos instantly transfer to my cellphone.

If you’re thinking on buying this camera, keep in mind that it’s not a DLSR, nor is your regular point-and-shoot. It’s a bridge camera. Pros: 1- RAW files (only in optical zoom, not in digital zoom), which is great for the small sensor it has. 2- Lightweight. 3- Shooting in Macro mode is great. Has a spectacular resolution. 4- The zoom is truly excellent and with good illumination you can get great photos 5- Under the “Scene” setting, it has multiple options. I only tried a few of them, but the ‘moon shot’ option is really good. Cons: 1- Couldn’t connect using the snapbridge in my phone. Did work with another phone, though. 2- The VR (vibration reduction) at full zoom is not great. Overall, great camera.

This piece of equipment is worth the investment. It is user friendly and produces professional photos.

Camera has crisp clear photos, telephoto lens is amazing and camera is lighter than expected. A number of different options for photos and easy to just point and shoot.

I bought this camera for my wife on her birthday and it is the best camera I have purchased so far. Instant upload to phone, great picture, and fantastic zoom.

With the wide angle and zoom capabilities there's no need to buy a more expensive camera. The quality of pictures and videos and ease of use are excellent.

I love my camera!!! I have always tried to avoid buying a camera that involves having to buy lenses. When I came across this camera i fell in love with it! It seems like a fancy camera that you are able to change lenses but with this one that is not required. I take it with me when I go to family gatherings and when I go travel. This camera takes such beautiful pictures!!! I love to capture memories of my family and am able to capture snaps of birds or butterflies in nature. The picture quality is beautiful!

I looked at several different digital cameras from sir to bridge to mirrorless I looked at the nikon b500 which had no viewfinder and as well used batteries instead of on single battery I looked at the p900 with the 83x zoom that thing is a heavy monster 80x zoom compared to 60x zoom on the b700 I as well looked at dslr I got to the point that I wanted an all in all camera no lenses to change so I went with this after watching several; videos and reading views talking to people online I ordered it Sunday got it the following Thursday

Took our new Coolpix B700 on a hike and captured some great telephoto shots of birds. Very good telephoto lens and the camera is not too bulky too carry.

I went to but a different camera but when I explain my use, the sale guy recommended me this camera. Its very easy to use have very cool results so far.

Just what I was looking for to take along on a cruise where I did not want to carry too much equipment. Easy to use and takes great photos.

It's more than a starter camera and a great step if you have higher level photography asperations, and at a very affordable price!

Camera has view finder-tiltable screen all directions- not found in any other cameras at this price catagory. Flash is stronger than most cameras. Has a forced flash which I use a LOT, taking pix of a person and scenery in the background the person does not need to squint in the sun. Had Nikon P520 this is compatable and I loved that camera. I only use 4 MP otherwise pix are to large when saving.. they turn out GREAT. even in 8X10. Took 6000 pix on a 2 month trip 9,000 miles across country. great for the price.

Great camera for the money, lot`s of features, only thing i`m missing is the program for use with fast mowing objects.

I just got this camera this week, so I am still in the tedting-getting-along phase but so far I am liking this very much. For me what got me to buy this are the following reasons. Shoot 4K videos for the family 60X zoooommm lens Very robust compact camera Oh and 4K videos ...lol I really wantes to try out shooting videos using 4K camera but mu wife wanted a photo camera so this is a nicr and very affordable compromise. If anything goes wrong, or exceptionally well, with the camera I'll post an update.

Overall, was very pleased with this camera. Very lightweight and easy to use.
