Because my hands are crippled with arthritis, this camera is easier for me to hold and manipulate. The pictures are good and clear. I haven't gone over each feature but they are all explained very well.

It takes good pictures but doesn't capture light and color to the degree that I might like--if you want that a DSLR with higher quality lenses would probably be the right choice.
