after contacting the manufacture, I found a detailed book on how to use the camera, which I printed out and have been using. It would be good to have something in-between,

after comparing countless cameras with similar specs this one produced the best color quality. it is fairly simple to use and the zoom is great!

Great picture quality easy to use it takes professional pictures

I did research on this camera and bought it for xmas. Easy handling and setting are easy but the negative that I have with this camera is that you have to wait for this camera to focus and can be frustrating. I will be looking for a more $$$ so I don't have this program.

Easy to operate with terrific results, even on "auto". Terrific for the beginner and also somewhat experienced novice photographer. Light weight and not bulky. Enjoyable!

Bought the camera to replace my old Canon. Needed something quick for a family wedding that was easy to use, zoom and focus capability and the eyeshot or screen. This camera had it all. Only drawback is multiple quick shots (i.e. sports action shots) because the camera is focusing.

Takes fantastic pictures and is soooo light. You really don't realize you're carrying a DSL.

This camera is easy to use. I like that it has the ability to switch between camera and video on the side of the camera without having to go through menu options.

This camera has so many bell and whistles that I haven"t been able to check them all out yet, but those that have been used have performed as desired

Camera provides high quality photos, from long range to close up. I chose it for this capability, since I often take close-ups of documents and smaller objects, as well as wildlife from a distance.

The pictures resolution is good but the zooming pictures take a little bit to take and you may not capture the scene if it is moving.

As a novice picture taker, I can finally take great pictures. I would highly recomend this product to the inexperienced that want to take professional looking photos.

The p530 is a wonderful camera for a beginning photographer who wants great pictures.

Perfect camera for someone who wants something beyond the basic point and shoot, and someone who has professional experience.

We bought this to capture our kids in their sports, mainly soccer, and the camera has been excellent. It will alert you if the picture will not turn out at the setting you have it on so that you can adjust. There are several options so it is taking some time to learn all the features but is also just an excellent point and shoot camera.
