The camera has a lot of features. If you purchase the WIFI accessory, it connects easily to your smart phone so you can upload pictures to your mobile phone's gallery or picture file. The camera is easy to use on auto and has a great zoom feature. I've been using it for over a month now and I'm pleased with the reults. Good camera for a beginner or an intermediate photographer. Great buy.

This was a great compromise between just a point-and-shoot and a DSLR. I didn't want to worry about all the lenses, and the cost of all the lenses. I mostly use it for family get-togethers and I've taken pictures at a few conferences. I have the option of going completely automatic, or I can switch to manual and adjust several settings, including shutter speed, aperture, and even some color settings. The battery life has been great so far. The zoom is fantastic, and still takes clear pictures, unlike my previous point-and-shoot Coolpix that got fuzzier the further you zoomed.

Love the camera and glad I went with this model, as I was looking at a different one that did not have the same features. I can place in my purse and take with me easily. Love the pictures and videos, just have not had the opportunity to upload to my computer as of yet.

I have a Canon DSLR with 6 lenses. It's a great camera, but not always the best to lug around all day with you. So, I found this camera to take up that need. I couldn't be happier. It focuses quickly and takes beautiful pictures. I liked it so much I bought another one for my daughter who probably uses more of the features than I do now that she's had time to use it. You won't be disappointed with this one for sure. And you can always throw it in your bag or trunk so you always have a great camera to capture those awesome moments.

The camera is easy to use. I chose this because it has a eye piece as well as screen. Makes it easier for outdoor pictures when its bright (plus helps me keep steady.)

This camera takes beautiful pictures. It's lightweight & easy to use. Few things I didn't care for: to charge battery you must have battery in camera & plug in. You cannot utilize camera (review pics) while charging. Wish it would've included more detailed user guide. As of right now, I cannot figure out how to take action shots.

Its simple to use, but still has a lot of options. I bought it for a vacation and got some wonderful shots even though I'm still learning about all the settings.

Purchased to replace my old Canon DSLR. Has most of the options found on an advanced camera, as well as very good Point and Shoot automatic settings. The zoom works well, and the wide end of 20 mm really captures the landscape. Can't beat the price. The only issue is that sometimes the white balance can be tricky - but you can work around this with settings adjustment. As good or better than cameras twice the price.

Got this camera to replace my old Cool Pix 6000 and I don’t regret it at all. I took the camera to a local convention and let me say WOW! The zoom let me take photos from long distances as if I was right next to the people. When I was outside at night I started to tinker with the settings and was able to take zoom shots of people in a dark tennis court that I couldn’t even see with my eyes. If you want a point and shoot that has some good functions and this camera is in your price range, the P530 is for you.

this camera is a very nice camera for the price, I got it for vacation and it was such a simple camera to use and the pictures were wonderful , I am very,very happy with my purchase

Still learning on this camera after having a Canon. Its pretty easy to figure out. I liked this model best because it has an eye piece. I don't like just looking at a screen only. The sports burst works different than my Canon and that is the one feature I used all the time on my old camera. So that is the one I am still learning about. The camera on display was unable to take pictures so that would have been helpful in the store to see how the sports feature looked. Bought it to take pictures of the kids playing sports and so far they are turning out really nice.

This is my 4th Nikon. The 42x telephoto in this camera is fantastic. I can zoom in on subjects up to 5 miles away. I've taken some great shots of bald eagles, great blue herons and deer. When using the full 42x zoom, you definitely need a tripod, because the slightest movement of the camera loses the image. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is the flare spots when trying to photograph sunsets

I bought this camer for my fiancé as a gift, our first kid is on the way and we needed a reliable camera!! This camera takes beautiful pictures and the premium flash allows for photos in all settings... Even our black dogs show up which you won't get from any lesser camera. It also has a quick button for video recording, so when something spectacular happens mid shot, videos only a push button away and the HD quality is premium ;)) and don't forget rechargeable battery beats those other cameras that need replacing every time you use them..

Surprisingly light, but very plastic feel. Powerful zoom but hard to control with any precision. LED screen on the back is very good, but not so in the viewfinder. Overall, about what you should expect for the price.

This camera is very easy to start with, but additionally it has a lot of advanced features for specific situations which are just great.

Quality Nikon camera reasonably priced, good optical zoom and ease of use. Like the ability to use viewfinder if glare makes using the rear display difficult. Multiple picture settings available and quickly changeable with dial (reminds me of old 35mm cameras).

I'm a beginner with using these type of cameras. But I LOVE it. Easy to use, sharp pictures, zooms to a distance that is amazing. I charge it and the battery lasts several uses. Perfect birthday present for a girl who LOVES capturing memories.

Got this for a Christmas present for my wife and she loves it! It does everything she needs to take great pictures. She loved the video record option and the flash! It's easy to use and will definitely come to use on our vacations and trips.
