I needed a camera but had a very specific pricepoint, which worried me. I did lots of research and asked a couple wedding photographers I know which would be best--this was the winner. And I couldn't be happier with the pick. This has been wonderful for capturing lots of family get-togethers and impromptu photo sessions. So happy to have it.

I was looking for a camera to shoot quick action shots for my kids' sporting events. The quick frame by frame action mode available on this camera will surely capture those quick movements to ensure you get the perfect shot! Recommend purchasing an additional battery because the action shots uses up your battery more than usual.

Takes beautiful pictures, easy to use, nice zoom, and FUN

I bought this camera for a baseball games when they retired a couple of players and the shots I got are amazing. I will forever remember the moments and can show them to people as well. It also worked for getting shots of every player, definitely worth the buy.

Easy to learn about it, smaller size is nice for carrying around. I love taking pictures so was looking for something to replace my much larger and bulkier DSLR camera but also wanted great zoom and photo quality. This seemed like a good match. So far I really like it.

I use this camera primarily for getting pics of my son when he is on stage!.It works wonderfully! The pictures come out clear as a bell, even if I am a little shaky. The color on the images is great. And I can video him with perfect clarity and great sound! I would recommend this camera to anyone with an active teen!

I am very happy with this camera. I had a similar from Panasonic, but sold it after 4 years, and this camera had the best cost / benefit. I highly recommend to purchase the WiFi adapter, makes a big difference.

Wanted a smaller camera with the features of my SLR. This fit the bill. Only issue is me getting used to the light weight of the camera.

This is the first Digital Camera that I have used. I have always had Canon SLR Film. So when making the choice to enter the 21st century for picture taking..still have the capability to look through the eye hole was extremely important to me. This is a GREAT user friendly camera. I take pictures for my own pleasure. I didn't need anything fancy and this is the PERFECT fit!

Took new Nikon to NM-amazing nature pics, easy to pack, pulled it out at a moment's notice, even dropped it and can't see where it hit the pavement...did a little portraiture for my theater group and got tons of compliments. Handy and perfect for someone transitioning for point-and-shoot to something with a few more bells and whistles. The 42x zoom is amazing!

A definite recommend. I've taken over 400 pictures in just the last 2 months mostly due to the holidays, but overall the camera speed is good the quality is good and I couldn't be more satisfied!
