If you are looking for DSLR then read no further. I wanted a point and shoot as I am still learning how to take basic photographs. This is the perfect transition camera I was looking for. It has some modes which are similar to DSLR. It is compatible with 67mm filters and attahments. It has amazing zoom. I captured the moon without a camera tripod. So good stabilization.

Wow, the zoom on this camera for a point and shoot is crazy! Easy to set up and start shooting right out of the box. Took some great pics and videos while on a trip in China.

You can literally shoot the moon with this camera. This camera is worth much more than its price tag! It is an amazing camera!

Bought this for an 13 yr old- so easy to use. Picture quality great. Lots of light into the large lens. Amazing zoom. Takes regular pics and long zoom without lens change

I've had many nikon powershots. They all have been excellent point and shoot camera's. They take wonderful pictures and are easy to use.

This camera became literally everything I had hoped to get when I purchased it. My only reason for buying it was to be able to take pictures of the moon, I'm not gonna lie. Although after bringing it home and playing with all the amazing features the camera has to offer, I have grown to like its numerous settings and its spectacular zoom. I recommend the Nikon P-900 to anyone who wants to take pictures of anything! Beginners to Professionals alike.

This camera has it all excellent zoom, long battery life, a built in flash. And quick response when continuious shot button is pressed. Well worth the price.

We were looking for a point and shoot with lots of zoom and not too many options. This camera is so much fun. We take it everywhere now. A little on the heavy side but a good strap makes it easy.

I am not a camera expert but found this Nikon to be easy to use and give me the zooming distance that I was missing from my other digital cameras.

Bought this camera before our trip to Hawaii... it worked great... not too heavy and easy to use.

This is an awesome camera for getting closeups of wildlife and nature. That was the reason why I bought it as I have another Nikon for other types of photos. Tried it out taking photos of eagles fishing by a dam and also at a bison preserve near by. Usually the eagles and bison are so far away that I could never get a good photo of them, with this camera I didn't have a problem zooming in. Wow. Great closeups!

I love this camera!! When you zoom you can see the craters of the moon. I suggest getting a tripod for extremely close up pics, or have a VERY steady hand. It took a bit of playing around w the settings and handling but once you get the hang of it, it becomes easy. Definitely the most bang for your buck if you want to take beautiful professional quality pics but not spend a fortune. I highly recommend.
