I bought this camera for my son when he enrolled in a photography class in college. He LOVES the camera ! Now I want one for myself !

I like so much about this camera but having a few issues with getting images to my computer from it. I need to look deeper into why. But image quality is great and you just can't beat the zoom.

Just got back from road trip to the 5 National Parks in Utah and purchased this camera to take photos of all the beautiful scenery. I love this camera and the photos it can take; since I have trouble walking and hiking the telephoto lens was perfect to get the arches, the hoodoos , canyons etc.... I would recommend this camera, I was able to hold it , carry it and take pictures. took along a tripod but never used it...

The camera is very easy to zoom in and out. Scrolling through the pictures is easily accessible.

I bought this camera to replace a Canon SX60 that had gone everywhere with me for the last several years and had finally gotten to the point it was becoming unreliable. I was hoping that Canon would have come out with a newer model so when I found that they had not, I looked to Nikon to see what they had to offer. As you can probably tell, I am a Canon person so it took a bit for me to move forward in ordering this camera. But I love it! The longer lens and the smaller F-stop were definitely a plus as I use this camera not only for wildlife photography here at home but it is my go-to camera for traveling. My biggest concern was the ability to hold the camera still enough to take those distant photos as I struggled with that issue when using my SX60. But the longer lens on this Nikon allows me to hold the camera lens in my left hand while shooting photos with my right. This tends to give me more stability and less shake. The camera also has a built in stabilizer which seems to work fairly well. I continue to use my DSLR when I want something a little more professional, but you can't beat this camera for the everyday, carry in your car, candids of the kids and grandkids at ballgames or concerts and travel - it can't be beat!

I really like the lens but the camera needs a faster processor and faster focus. Only shoots jpeg needs ability to shoot raw. Great for static subjects but not good for birds in flight which was what I was hoping for. The zoom lens is really great but needs a manual focus ring (the digital is just to slow). The Bocca is ugly and harsh. The VR is very good and the 28-2000 zoom is incredible. There is a lot to like about the camera and if they are somehow able to fix the above issues the camera would be something that would be a real winner.

It has an amazing zoom like promised And it’s an amazing camera but I was looking for something faster and lighter. I was not able to see it in person due to covid but once the camera was delivered I realized it was heavy. The camera takes 7 continuous shots then it takes time to save the image. And you better carry a tripod with you at all times specially while using the zoom. I would totally recommend this camera but only for the zoom part if a bird flies is hard to catch him while he is moving. At least for a beginner like me.

Pros: The zoom is simply amazing. The camera has lots of settings to make your shot even better. Takes beautiful macro shots. I am still learning the settings on the camera. Cons: The camera is kinda heavy. The zoom is amazing however when zoomed all the way out you must use a tripod for a clearer shot. It's nice having a long zoom but it would be better if the shots were clear. The viewfinder isn't the best especially if you wear glasses. I have tried to find a different one but they aren't compatible. Battery life is short. If taking a trip you will need to carry a charger. The battery is charged inside the camera which is a pain.

I AM MOSTLY A POINT AND SHOOT. THE CAMERA TAKES GREAT PHOTOS. FOR ZOOMING ALL THE WAY YOU MAY CONSIDER A TRI POD OR AT LEAST A GOOD MON POD. I HAVE A LOT MORE TO LEARN.. WILL BE GOING ON VACATION AND SOON AND LOOKING FORWARD OF TAKING PHOTOS OF GRAND CANYON AND MONUMENT VALLEY.

I have been a Canon SLR and high end lens user for years. I bought this point and shoot camera solely for its lens and plans to use it for a safari in Africa. While we have not yet done the safari, the pictures I have taken rival my Canon and look great. The zoom is unbelievable. I love this camera and I will leave my Canon 100-400 zoom at home. I highly recommend this camera.

Wow!!! you will be amazed at what you can see and how you see it. You can really go out and explore with this item. All included in a single device. spoke to many experienced photographers before purchasing this camera and really get what you paid for. Great product!!!
