Customers are saying

However, some users experienced challenges with focusing, particularly in low-light conditions, and noted the camera's relatively large size. The camera's value for its price point was also frequently mentioned.

Decent pictures but the zoom makes it worth the price. Yes the quality at high zoom levels drops off, but you cant get such pictures with other cameras. Bottom line is that this is just a fun camera to use. Not a complete replacement for your normal DSLR but for shots that you just couldn't get with most any other camera, it's really awesome.

I’ve been wanting this camera for so long, and it was well worth the wait. I waited until it went on sale because it’s a little pricey for me. But it’s worth the money spent. Makes me feel like a professional photographer. I’ve had it for two months now and I am still discovering new tricks.

I purchased this for my vacation which was to NYC, OMG! It was so incredible, and the zoom helped me a lot since there was a lot of turists and I couldn’t get closer to what I wanted to capture, this camera is insane! I’m in love for this one. My first camera and I don’t regret from it

I am having so much fun learning my Nikon P900 camera. It is fantastic. The 83X Optical is really excellent. I had one disappointment though, 2 days after I bought the camera Nikon came out with a P1000 with 125X optical. I would loved to have known then I probably would have gotten the newest model.

This camera replaces a Nikon D80 and a Nikon D5300. I wanted a significant zoom capability since carrying extra lenses is inconvenient. Contemporary connectivity completes the package. It may be the last camera I purchase.

Took this camera to Kenya to take pictures on our Safari. Got some amazing animal and wildlife pictures thanks to the zoom. Would have given 5 stars, but discovered it is very difficult to transfer the pictures to my iPad ( you have to download an app) and it won’t transfer video! Also wish you could charge the battery outside the camera. Goes through battery fast, so be sure to buy an extra.

The P900 is a fun camera and offers an incredible reach of 2000mm optical and 8000mm digitally. When you get to the digital range of 8000mm the image tends to "float" and is hard to get centered at times. Past 2000mm it does get a little soft but most long range lenses do. ...even with the dslr $10,000 600mm giants. So some tweaking might need to be done. Color and egornomics are awesome especially from a long time Canon and Sony user. It is a big camera for a bridge camera. Almost the size of some dslr bodies. It is versatile and has a ton of useful features

The pictures are great, the zoom is excellent, 83x with no attachments, makes it great for having with you, while walking in the woods to capture the wild, or just something you think is great. The zoom is great, only problem with the camera is the anti shake feature when zoomed in.

Brought this camera back Jan 2017. It was to replace my p510, which I still love. This camera is amazing with the long range lense. It's a fun camera to use, lots of options. The only con so far is it's a little heavy. So when trying to get those still shot holding it in place the weight becomes an issue. I love to 2000 lense range and 67mm lense base.

I've been shooting with this camera for a few months now. Its a lot of camera for a little price tag. Relatively speaking. It's super cheap compared to higher quality DSLR models. Nikon has created a perfect bridge camera between simple point and shoot, to full manual DSLR functions. WiFi and GPS are great. Simple fast communication between camera and smart phone via app. Lots of built in preset shooting modes. The real reason for getting this camera though, is the 83x optical zoom!! Insane zoom power! Its so much fun. Full moon photos are amazing. Airplanes flying at 40,000 feet are easy to identify. I have even gotten a decent photo of Mars. Selfies are easy via swivel screen. 1080 video is solid. Not ultra hi def, but at this price point, no surprise there. Vibrant nature photos, and great portraits. All around this is an easy camera to use. A great stepping stone to much more serious photography with an affordable price.
