I wasnt going to buy a camera until I saw the moon shot feature. I tried it and it works. Now I take my camera everywhere I go. its good for both distance and close shots.

I had a choice to make when it came to a camera with a long zoom capability. I already own a very good DSLR with a 75-250MM zoom lens but was looking at a new lens that was 100 - 600MM but the cost was over $800 and the weight when installed on my camera was too much to realistically carry around. This NIKON P900 provides the equivalent of a 24 - 2000MM zoom and although not a feather, is less than 2 lbs so easier to carry and hold steady without a tripod. I'd highly recommend it. The bluebird below was about 100 ft away (partial zoom) and the pine cones in the tree about 1000Ft away (full zoom).

I was surprised with how far you could zoom in with this camera. I was able to take some pretty awesome shots of the moon. Also takes beautiful action shots.

This camera is great for wildlife photography. Very impressed with the quality of the pictures it produces for the price.

I Take This Camera Every Where I Go .. It's Great That I Don;t Have To Worry About Changing Lenses And Carrying Them... I Can Shot Any Type Of Photo's With This Unit ..

The 11th or 12th camera I have owned/rented in the last 2 years, including Canon T3i, Sony A77 Mk II, Panasonic FZ1000, Sony RX100 II, Panasonic LX100, Fuji X-E2S and Fuji X-T1. Of them all I like this one the BEST despite its 1/2.3" sensor. Fun camera to use. Very forgiving. Very capable. For the price it is one heck of a buy. It is a great camera and fun to play with. Its zooming capability is much better than I expected. I have played with it for weeks now and still have lots of things to explore. The only thing I do not like is its view finder which is hard to use. It is not as good as my Nikon 7100.

GREAT Features allowing for all conditions while shooting. Day Night Moving around,Love the 360 pan. Moon pictures are my favorite and the moon with zoom gets you up close and personal.

This camera was way better then I figured. I can take good indoor pics , macro pics and can zoom and I mean zoom. If you like moon pics this is your ticket.

Still learning how to use the camera and getting use to the heaviness of it. But the zoom capability itself kind of makes me concentrate more on taking great shots, instead or worrying about the weight. I use a tripod for most of my shots anyway.

Perfect camera for taking hiking,camping, family picnics and everywhere in between! Not to mention it's unbelievable capability to zoom in on the moon!!

Was a little nervous about the purchase, but am very pleased with the camera. The Zoom flexibility is outstanding. Like the typical Nikon Quality.

Still learning camera, however, I love the zoom on it. I was coming from a 35x zoom and wanted much more. This does that and more.

the zoom lens reach of almost 2000mm takes great photographs of animals and birds especially when in macro or portrait mode for great detail. Only downside is the slow focus especially when light source is inadequate.

On my first attempt of using this camera I was astonished at the quality of the camera and pictures.

Has fantastic zoom, focus is slow, decided to stay with my Canon t5 and get a longer zoom lens.

The zoom was amazing on this camera. And I love u can pick out colors and everything eles would be in black and white
