Small enough to fit in pocket, yet still takes great pictures.

Purchased this camera before our yearly family vacation. Size is a definite plus and it's small and very portable. Took to a formal dinner on our last night of vacation and camera slips nicely into pants front pocket. Built is solid and sturdy. The night photos weren't as good as a Nikon point and shoot camera I had in college. The photos were a bit grainy.

Takes nice pictures and fits in my purse. The price was reasonable.

I like this camera except it is difficult to transfer the pictures from the camera to my iPad. I bought it because I thought it would be easy.

This is a straightforward camera for a non-sophisticated user who doesn't need elaborate effects and who wants a nice crisp picture without a lot of adjusting and fiddling with settings. That's probably a terrible condemnation for a serious photographer, but it's what I needed and wanted. The Coolpix is easy to use. Recommended!
