Ive had a coolpix before, but the screen had broken so I wanted to upgrade to a newer one, these cameras often go on sale also. Very user friendly and easy to use, the wifi setup works great with any smartphone so I often hook the camera up to a tripod and take pictures that way. Unfortunately, after about a month of use, the camera decided not to work, there was something wrong with the zoom function that didn't allow it to turn on, I ended up sending it to the Nikon factory to be repaired, luckily it was under a 1 year warranty, best buy would not take it after the 14 days return policy. The repair took a few weeks which was inconvenient but it was the only option I had. I got the camera back and works just as well. Just take advantage of the 1 year return policy and register the warranty as soon as you get it.

Great camera. Takes very high quality photos, but has a lot of features that I never use. Easy for point and shoot photos.

The camera is easy to use, just point and shoot, the zoom it easy too, especially for the less than technical user. Great pictures for a non- SLR camera

This camera is simple to use and awesome pictures. Played with it before my trip to Brazil. Took awesome picture with this simple camera.

I bought this camera for its zoom feature. The Canon one I had was a little short on the distance allowed to zoom. The Nikon has a very flexible zoom feature that enabled me to capture shots a lot farther away than my Canon and also zoomed in closer. It is also lightweight. Perfect for a trip.

Took this camera to Costa Rica as it was compact. I liked the pictures that I manage to take, particularly of moving birds. This is not the camera for the pros but it served me well

The Nikon Coolpix S7000 is a great camera to use for traveling. It's small, fits into your pocket. Very easy to operate with a great zoom for a small camera. Pictures are sharp and crisp. Auto focus is fast..

Purchased this camera for my 13yr old daughter who's into making movies and beginning photography. Great camera for her to start out with, very easy to use and the picture quality is great! Couldn't beat the price either when compared to other's with similar features.

I bought this camera for a trip I took to New York. It is more than expected. The pictures are very clear and the zoom is more than I expected. If you want an easy to use camera, this is the one!

I would give this 4 1/2 stars. I purchased this as a gift for my sister who had done some research on the camera. I was impressed with the features, versatility and picture quality. It even has ability to connect to WiFi. There's a lot packed into this little camera. It's easy to use and great for traveling. I got this on sale at a great price. Would highly recommend for anyone.

I got this for my daughter for a high school photography class. The pictures look good and it has a good macro mode. The controls are a little complex at times, and the phone app doesn't do much, but it does take better pictures than my phone. Better optical zoom than most compact cameras.

The camera is very easy to operate and the pictures and videos are crystal clear.Its also very easy to download the pictures and videos to the computer.

I am a picture taker; not a photographer. Also have been a Lumix fan but my 10 year old is a carry around the neck size. For a two week trip to France, I wanted one sized to carry in a belt case. The S7000 is what I picked after much research. It is a great low light performer which rendered great indoors cathedral shots. The zoom capability is amazing and the wide angle takes some great landscapes. When I see tourists with huge cameras slung around their necks, I'm glad mine is comfortably on my belt; it is a small camera and just what I wanted

bought as a gift for inlaws, easy to use, built in wifi for shutterfly. They have grandbabies to photograph so it is super easy for them.
