great point and shoot for what ever you need
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.there are many reviews on this camera so ill be brief. this camera is small to be carried anywhere. it can take beautiful photos and video recording is great. my only negative is just that it is a point and shoot camera. but even without the additions of a dslr you cant do wrong with this camera. replace dull smartphone cameras with this nikon and you wont be disappointed.

Nice, basic camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I gave it 4 out of five stars cause the button for the wifi is in a bad place for me personally. I always accidentally hit it, then it wants to go into wifi mode. Otherwise, takes great pics and video. Easy to charge, easy to upload. Love I can flip the screen this way and that.

Great camera for the photographer on vacation.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The camera is a joy to operate; Nikon maintains a close line of operating sites, so when you buy a new one, even though the new one may have new photo options, you don't have to learn a new operational pattern to use one. The triple telescope lens was the main reason for my new acquisition, and the fact I can take short movie sequences without the bother of changing lens. A great vacation camera for the person who just wants to get away from all work, but still wants quality in their imaging. The images are as sharp as any film-camera I have used.

Great camera for travel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the camera for a trip to Europe and was not disappointed. It takes excellent quality photos. My favorite feature was that the screen can be turned so that it is safe when not in use and also can be turned to face the front of the camera. This was great since I spent most of my trip traveling alone.

Love my Nikon Coolpix S9900
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a Nikon Coolpix 9300 and love it so much that I decided to upgrade to the Nikon Coolpix 9900.It's a bit larger than the 9300 but not heavy at all. Settings are easy to manage and there is the great WIFI ability.I love everything about this camera and would recommend it to everyone.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The camera is easy to hold firmly on the rubber finger grip, the controls are simple, user friendly and navigates well, pictures are clear even in low light and is a great camera for daily use and carries well when vacationing.

Small compact very good Pics.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Small compact very good pics. Still getting use to it was everything I was looking for in a camera, except the flash is easy to block with finger you have to reprogram your brain to make the adjustment. Also it is easy to accidently change camera settings without knowing. Overall camera is very good you just need to practice ahead of time.

Therenis alot to learn still, like can i email pics from the camera straight to a persones email or can i put it directly to facebook. I have noticed that the battery does wear out quickly. Terrific little camera Nikon S9900
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to purchase this on the fly during a one month trip coast to coast. Also had to pick up at a different store due to scarcity of stock. But it is a great little camera. 30 zoom picks up terrific detail (grizzly and cub, and orca), the autofocus works in all sorts of lights/action, I still love the instant exposure adjustment, and best of all, it still fits in a pocket. Bought a spare battery, but was pleased that one battery lasted 2-3 days, taking more than 200 shots. Used the flip viewer a few times and it came in handy, otherwise left it in the ready to shoot position (can be flipped to protect the view screen). Really like this camera.

Very nice camera for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this Nikon S9900 after reading reviews on several similar cameras on the market. I was looking for something small to take on our trip to Scotland and this camera fit the bill. Now that I have had a chance to use it and see the results I am very pleased with the cameral overall. It is very easy to use and has more features than I will probably use. The zoom was better than expected as was the battery life on a full charge. I would recommend this camera to anyone who wants an upgrade from small point and shoot cameras.

Met my needs.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My DSLR is proving too heavy for this 85 year-old to lug around while using a cane. Sought a lighter high quality camera with SLR-like features allowing me to continue my 75 year-old passion. Did my homework before making my purchase and am pleased with my choice. Limited experience so far, but impressed with the results. It exceeds my 7 year old DSLR in some aspects such as zoom range, flexible screen, and macro ability.

Top of the line point and shoot
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Coolpix 9900 is a great point and shoot that does just about everything. Photo quality is very good. Love the 30X optical zoom. Battery life is very good, even when using flash for every shot. Camera is a bit heavier and bulkier than its Coolpix predecessors, which makes it not the "stick in your pocket and go" camera. I use it for work (insurance claims) and prefer it over my digital SLR. Only complaint is that the Wi-Fi button is right next to the thumb grip, which results in Wi-Fi button getting accidentally pressed. More of an annoyance than a problem. The rubber thumb grip has a ridge next to the video button which helps prevent accidentally pressing that button. Wish they would do same for Wi-Fi button.

Great point & shoot camera!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to use, but it takes great pictures! What's good is that the quality is professional without having a big, bulky lens. I honestly have gotten so many compliments on my pics!
