I've watched a ton of videos about how to best utilize the features of this camera and it is amazing. I'm even considering taking photography classes to expand my knowledge. This camera is incredible.

Purchased as a gift for adult child stepping up from a point & shoot. Camera seems to have nice features for them to grow into. I thoroughly researched other reviews and found them to be generally positive, especially when considering this camera is geared toward entry level DSLR owners. Purchased two lens kit with included camera bag for $400.

I had trouble figuring out the documentation as there are so many buttons on the camera. Eventually I figured some of it out and what I have seen so far is that the picture quality is excellent

When the sale price came down because Nikon was discontinuing it represented a great value. With the two lenses 18-55mm and 55-200mm it is a good all around DSLR without breaking the bank.

This is the best price I can find anywhere for this DSLR camera. Used it to take photos when our kids went to ski school the first time at Snow Bowl. It takes very good pictures.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter for Christmas. She loved it, but still trying to figure out how to use it. The pictures she has taken so far are absolutely beautiful.

I was a little hesitant before buying this camera, as I knew nothing about DSLR. I am very glad I went through with the purchase. So far it has been fun experimenting with all of the controls and learning as I go. A little piece of advice though: don't delete photos on your camera unless they are clearly terrible/unusable. Images sometimes appear differently on your computer than they do on your tiny camera screen.

I'm not a professional photographer. I just want to learn and have something a little better than point and shoot camera and this Nikon is amazing for beginners is perfect

I bought this as a first camera for my teenage son. We are both impressed. You can't beat this deal for a great camera and the extra lens is awesome. Highly recommended.

The camera works great with the 2 lenses we will be able to capture wonderful pictures of our wildlife, gardens and document our puppies as they grow up. How Awesome!

Got this camera as a Christmas gift- takes wonderful clear images great color used the self timer for Christmas card this year worked wonderfully. I love it.

Still trying to learn every aspect but for a beginner still has functions to make it easy enough to take quality pictures with no knowledge of photography.

I purchased this for my son and his wife for Christmas. I would love one for myself! I own a Nikon digital camera and would love to upgrade. Perhaps soon!

Ease of use out of the box. Not intimidating. Plenty of online tutorial available for learning manual adjustments to move beyond point and shoot.
