Great camera... fantastic image quality!! easy to use !!

Nikon - D3200 is an excellent choice for an entry level DSLR camera. Pictures looks great. Charge stays for enough clicks. Switching the lenses is not a pain area once you practice. I have come to know that even better pictures can be taken with this camera by purchasing next level lenses having 12-300 zoom level. That avoids switching lenses as well. There is no need to go for 5200 or 7200 if you know to take pictures on manual mode according to lighting at the time of the shoot (day/night). All that you might need to purchase to compliment is a great lens that is compatible with D3200.

I've used Nikon equipment for years (always with outstanding results) but several years ago moved away from DSLR for the smaller compact cameras. Purchased the D3200 with 18-55mm and 55-200mm VR II lens because I was missing my DSLRs but didn't want to spend a lot on a high-end system. Am completely satisfied with the D3200. My first photo with a new camera is always a portrait of one of my dogs. . . see below. I don/t think you'll be disappointed if you purchase this outfit.

This is an amazing price for an amazing product. Like one of the other posters here, I had moved to an advance point and shoot for a few years (Canon SX40 HS). I had done this for convenience and weight when I was biking. Although the results were quite good, there was only JPEG output which limited quality and "tweakability". The first day with this I was very impressed. The weight with the 55-200 was not noticeably heavier than my P&S and not much bulkier with the lens in the lock position. The combo of the body and the 55-200 makes for a great walkabout set up. The VR operation of the long zoom was equally impressive. The available detail is simply amazing. I attached an image to show just how good this set up is. It was cropped, but still!!!! Started many, many, many years ago with a Nikon FE, then moved to Canon. very happy to be back in the Nikon family!! Get this kit while you still can at this great price!!!!!

This package offered an incredible price for us to introduce ourselves to the DSLR world. We have be extremely pleased with the ease of operation and quality that this camera has offered us. I would buy this over and over again if needed!! This camera does offer the ability to advance to higher levels of lenses and options. If you are new to the DSLR this is a great camera to start with!!

I'm switching from an SLR to a DSLR & this camera was the best choice. So easy to use. Light weight. Sharp. Extra free accessories were just an added bonus. I love this camera!!!

this is a great camera easy to use and a great price. wasn't expecting to be able to afford a camera with two lenses.

If you wish to get into the DSLR type camera's this one has been perfect for me. You can even use legacy lenses ( they might not autofocus, but so what?!) RAW format as well as the normal options, 24+ MP, WOW. Full manual controls as well as a very nice set of auto controls, high quality and light weight, great battery life. For the money, is anything better?

This is my first DSLR camera. I got it less than a month ago and I have taken countless high quality photos (and some videos) with it since then. Both lenses produce awesome photos, and the camera itself is easy to navigate. I love how by turning the dial to GUIDE and pressing "shoot," you can easily choose what type of photos you want to take and the camera will do the proper settings to make the best shot. Overall, I love, love, love it!

Excellent clarity, easy to use, good features to play with and learn to use a professional quality camera. The lenses are fun to experiment with and the camera features make it super simple to operate.

I purchased this camera for my wife as a present before going on vacation. She had zero experience with DSLR and she learned the basics really quick. Very easy to use and it has a of great features for the price. We got it with the 2 lenses bundle which it's really convenient. It takes some really good quality pictures and videos. Great for beginners.

A great camera. The long and short lenses that accompanied the body have been very useful for close and far subjects. The great images captured during the holiday, from opening gifts in the living room with family, to outdoor photos of seasonal light displays, is been a pleasure to use and simple to operate. This camera will see a lot of use!

Got this DSLR during the holiday sales for $399 that came with the extra lense... Couldn't have been happier with the entire experience and with the product... GREAT CAMERA! I am not a photographer by any means, but I wanted a nice camera that would take good photos of my family and pets, and do well while I was on vacation. I liked this because it came with a kit (2 lenses). I've been using it to take family photos and it has been great! The quality of the photos are very high and the battery lasts for a long time! I would highly recommend this camera for anyone looking to increase the quality of their photos.

I am very pleased with this camera and the lenses. It is easy to use and the pictures I've taken have turned out great. There are several different settings to choose from, or you can let the camera guide you or set it on automatic. Very pleased with this purchase.

My friends recommended this as the best for entry level DSLR. I must say they are right. This is awesome , easy to use and come with almost all the features you might need with your DSLR for your part time photography. Also , the deal came with two VR II lenses.

Christmas gift - but already delighted with the camera. Only a few pictures but easy to use and lots of options. Nikon website offers great support and videos etc to make one more proficient. Bought as a package and it was a great deal as well
