Entry Level Camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this camera to become a recreational photographer and have a camera better than a point and shoot or my phone and it has worked great. Got a great price on a package deal and it takes wonderful pictures. Probably not for someone more advanced, but for any beginner i would recommend.

Excellent camera for a beginner
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love taking pictures with this camera. I can completely automate or use all my own settings. It's quick and easy and fun and the pictures came out really great - even with a 16X20. It's not cheap, but comparatively, a fair price.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this camera to get started with some amateur photography--family, friends, nature, etc. So far it's been very easy to use and I'm happy with the quality of the images. First DSLR camera I bought and I love it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this camera after years of being a digital camera user. I got fed up when I tried to take pictures at my child's Christmas presentation and my digital camera took forever to take pictures in a poor light setting. I said "That's it!" and resolved to get a DSLR camera! After doing research, I selected this brand. I love this camera and recommend it to beginners!

Great starter for beginning DSLR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After using P&S type cameras for several years I finally took the plunge into DSLR, and I just love it. The only drawback is that unlike most of my previous P&S cameras, this type of camera requires a steady hand and is a little harder to hold steady, definitely need a tripod for some types of shots - especially for macro and distance shots. It takes a little practice but when I get it right the pictures are incredible. The shutter noise can be a bit loud, and I do love taking nature shots, especially close ups of wild animals.

Great Camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far the pictures are crisp and vibrant. Camera has lots of features. I personally need the DVD to help me learn all of the features available on this camera. A bit more expensive than what I was hoping to pay for a camera but as I get even better taking pictures, I am sure it will pay off. Acceptable zoom comes with the camera, but I got the package deal & the other goes to 200x (there is also a 3rd zoom lens that maybe I will get later). I like the pictures we have taken of the runners. Lots of accessories available for this camera which is a good thing, however they seem to cost a bit much for my budget currently.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this camera! I tried out 3 different cameras before settling on this one. I love how easy it is to use, the picture quality and the ease of downloading my pictures.

Nice substitution
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This camera was a gift for my son. In his previous position he had access to a professional quality camera that cost more than my first car. Upon changing careers, we tried to make due with the smaller point and shoot cameras, but there was just something lacking. As a grandmother in need of amazing photos of my grandchild, I had been looking into the various cameras. We wandered into Best Buy and did a side by side comparison and couldn't be happier with the final decision. The quality of the photos are amazing!

Great Value For The Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nikon D3200 really is a great value for the price. You could spend a few hundred more dollars for an updated model, but if you are looking to break into the world of DSLR cameras and you are on a budget than look no further than the 3200. This camera takes great pictures as well as stunning videos. You can take the 3200 right out of the box and start shooting in Auto mode if you are not comfortable with the multiple manual modes that it offers. I only wish that this model would have a longer maximum video recording time, but that is a pretty minor detail and by all means not a deal breaker.
