Haven't had the chance to "really" use the camera like I want, but from what I have done, the pictures look great! The Nikon transfer program that comes with the camera is easy to install and use.
My only complaint is that it didn't come with the wee fee memory card that it advertises is so great about this camera on the commercials, or even if it had been bundled with the purchase, that would have made more sense. I didn't know that was what was needed in order to upload straight to the internet, which would be very convenient since I will be teaching photography again soon to high school students. I have already bought a memory card and currently can't afford to buy the other one, so it'll have to wait unfortunately. But otherwise a great buy!

I got this camera to replace my my Nikon D50 and it take great pics. Video is not too bad. I would recommend to get an external flash. the built in flash leaves a little to be desired as far as lighting coverage.

I'm new to the DSLR world. I did a ton of research before settling on this camera. I'm learning a lot and getting great results. I've been using the sport setting to get some great shots of my kids' soccer games. I'm also using a macro filter to take some great nature shots. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone looking to move up to a DSLR. Great camera for the money. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Picked this up for $549. You can't find a camera with more functions at such a great price! Picture quality is great and has a mode that will walk you through the different settings. Overall I am very pleased.

Nice camera. Good features and options. Nice lense. I'm enjoying using it and it takes better pictures then my older camera. If your not used to this advanced if a camera you really need to buy the teaching video offered because the owners manual does not examine how to use the camera effectively. I would recommend this camera.

I am a confirmed Nikon user and still use my D60 but I love the options available with my D3200 from the live and video features to the ability to send photos via wifi settings. And the best part, as with my other camera, it is still above all, user friendly allowing the amatuer to achieve professional results time and time again.

Great camera with decent menu layout. First time having video on my SLR. Everything is significantly faster than my d80.
my only complaint is that the camera is small and light compared to my older d80 (which for some might be good I guess). I found it to be a little too uneven with my 300mm, but was perfect with my 50mm.
a grip is a must with this camera. If you pick up this camera and think its comfortable, then try it with a grip, you'll love it.

Great beginner camera. If I had known I would love it so much I might have opted for a slightly better Nikon (I have my eye on the 5100 series with swivel LCD). DSLR's are the way to go for near professional quality. You will not be disappointed with this camera!!

I love this camera for casual photography - I'm not a professional but just love to take artistic photos and this camera has many settings to play with in order to get the right shot. I'm still getting used to some settings but if you don't mind playing with them to get a sense of what works for the types of shots you want, it has great capabilities. I'm used to shooting with SLR 35 mm cameras and this has the feel of one unlike some competitor cameras.

Have only taken about 200 photos so far, but I am very pleased with the results. Have had a lot of Kodak point and shoot cameras which were OK, and also a few Cannons, but they all lacked the "feel" of my old 35mm camera...always seemed to have shutter lag with the digital cameras, but this camera is fast and the almost 4 fps continuous shutter is something else! Also I am impressed with the Nikon lenses, the 18-55 that is included with this set-up is nice as is the 55-300 I was able to purchase at the same time at a nice savings!

Love this camera, my first DSLR. Still learning it but compared to other similar priced cameras this one is the most beginner user friendly. Good deal on the price, worth every penny.

I bought this camera about a month ago for a college film production class I'm taking. I absolutely love it. The resolution and clarity of both the images and the footage that this camera captures is breathtaking. The included lens is also great. Even though it's an 18-50mm lens, I've been able to get some amazing close up shots with it. My only complaint is that I need a lens that can zoom in on objects further away, but that's not an issue with the camera--I'll just have to buy another lens sometime.

Bought the nikon D3200 a few weeks ago. Love it! It's extremely easy to use and takes great pictures. Buys the 50 mm lens to go with it, much better than the stock lens.

I've had a point and shoot for years. I decided to step up to a dslr, read reviews, and talked to friends that are into photography, and settled on the D3200. I think it's a great camera but it takes a lot of time and studying to learn how to actually use it! I expected that, but I thought the camera might include more help. It does have a guide mode but l couldn't figure it out. It would probably be good to take a class but I don't have the inclination to do that. On the other hand, I've already taken one picture that I've got a lot of compliments on, of a stream with a long exposure to get the milky water effect.
