I was very nervous when i purchased this camera.. I was debating between D3300 and the Sony A6000. I took a big breath and i decided to go with the Nikon. So far i do not regret my decision! The image quality is amazing! its not very complicated to mess with and, it has a good weight and feel to it. Every photo i take comes out excellent no complaints on that department at all. So far ive had my camera for about 30 days and im loving it!!! Ive taken like 300 photos already and the more you use it, the better you will become. I recommend starting on auto mode, once your confortable... Go to guide modem, Basically the camera tells you what settings to adjust and why.... Which this way you will learn the manual settings step by step. For the price of the camera and the lenses that comes with it... Its a steal!!! buy it you will not be sorry you did! If you get it... get out there and shoot pics like there's no tomorrow!

I'm totally new to photography so I can't comment on how good the shots are or anything, but I have owned Point and Shoot cameras before and I can say that what I like best about this DSLR is the speed of it. There's no waiting for the camera to decide it's ready to take the picture - you press the button and the shot is instant, and it's instantly ready to shoot again. That alone is enough to make me recommend this DSLR to anyone. Controls are simple enough to use, and in my uneducated opinion the shots come out great on fully automatic mode. I have played with a few other settings and everything is laid out clearly and is very easy to find. I've only used it a handful of times for about 500 shots, but haven't had to recharge the battery yet. For this camera in particular, Best Buy sells a cheaper $500 package that comes with only the smaller lens. I'd highly recommend everyone spend the extra $100 for this second lens, it's incredibly worth it for zoomed shots. All-in-all, this seems to be the de-facto best beginner DSLR camera, and I would recommend it highly.

This was the first DSLR camera I have ever purchased and it's amazing. It so easy to use and the "Guide" mode makes it easy to take perfect pictures every time. I was able to switch to a back button focus with ease and now my pictures are crystal clear. I wouldn't say I am a total newbie when it comes to photography and I am extremely electronics savvy but this camera was all I could afford at the time. I am absolutely happy I chose this one. Pros 1. Ease of use 2. Best bang for the buck 3. Lightweight 4. Takes amazing pics 5. Great beginner camera Cons 1. Sometimes auto focus can freeze up a little 2. No built-in wifi 3. The package would be great if it came with a fixed focal lens

The D3300 is a great camera, light, easy to hold, and great to use. Guide function for beginners - Excellent camera for beginners and more advanced. I like how light and smaller it is than the bigger SDLRs. The camera takes great pictures, has lots of different functions, and is a lot of fun. So excited and did I tell you it has WIFI. The little adapter works great to download my pictures to my pad. See for yourself.

I shopped around for several weeks, comparing brands, features, and lens packages, and decided to pull the trigger on the D3300. I visited BB as well, and the salesman was very knowledgeable, and explained some of the features that seemed like a new language to me, as this is my first DSLR camera. I walked away with a much better understanding. I price checked all over and BB offered the best deal. The camera out of the box is very easy to use but you are not fully utilizing the camera if you just take pictures in "auto" mode. I visited the Nikon website and they have some great entry explanation videos. YouTube was next once I understood the basics. I am very happy with the camera, and very happy with my decision to purchase from BB.

The Nikon D3300 is a DSLR camera for the beginner that makes the complexities and training curve fun and informative. Makes you want to shoot pictures and practice, practice, practice! It's relatively light and full featured for the serious budding hobbyist photographer. It also incorporates a built-in guide mode to get you started, and short textual explanations of most of the buttons. Admittedly, I don't have another similar camera to compare it with, but bought the Nikon for its reputation, and the user reviews. The standard bundle includes the 18-55mm and 55-200mm zoom lenses, and carrying case. Highly recommended for the beginner or intermediate user. There are also endless YouTube video tutorials on learning to use this camera.

The Nikon D3300 was all I needed. For a while I've been meaning to buy a powerful, yet convenient and easy-to-use, DSLR camera. Good thing my husband decided to do early Christmas for me and spotted this deal @ Best Buy in Prattville, AL.This holiday kit with 2 lenses, a carry bag, and a red D3300 was just perfect for me. Other comments: this camera is very lightweight, the camera screen is fixed, the strap is also red with the Nikon logo in white, the kit does not come with a memory card.

Right out of the box you are guaranteed amazing photographs. This is my first DSLR and I am blown away by the quality. It takes a little bit of use in order to get the real potential out of this camera because you have to know some basic photography lingo. But just go ahead and photograph anything that catches your attention and the results will be amazing. I like the size, it fits just right on the hand, it is not too heavy like my friend's D5200. You get an extra lens which is a great deal. I got the red and it looks awesome. In hindsight I wish I had gotten the black so as to not catch too much attention. But overall I am super happy with the purchase and the quality of the camera.

I got this camera for my trip to London and Paris. My pictures shows the details of the architecture and even of the exhibits in the museums. I was able to learn my way around the camera quickly and I used the two accompanying lens equally on my trip. It is also not too heavy so I was ok carrying it around all day. I took lots and lots of pictures! Sometimes I wish I had one general purpose lens so I do not need to switch. I am already thinking about which lens I will get for my next trip.

I just got this camera a few months ago. I am very lazy about reading or learning about new products I buy. That being said, I was able to figure out how to use it in a basic-function-type-way lol. I plan to figure out the more complicated parts later. So far, the photos have come out super clear and really nice. Love the automatic flash- used it in a very dark (lit only by the Christmas tree) room and it made the photos look really nice, like, you could still tell it was a dim room, but you could see (clearly) the ppls faces. Also, its easy to charge (battery) and easy to use the memory card, etc.

I am new to photography; yeah, I take pictures with my phone and my point and shoot camera, but I wanted to do more! After researching different cameras for a few months, I finally decided on the Nikon D3300; the awesome price/package did sway my decision some, but the features really helped. I love that it has a guide mode that helps me take pictures in different situations (running water, night, motion, etc.). My goal is to take this new hobby into the world of paying gigs, and I think that this camera is going to help me do it. Now if I could only get my dogs to sit still long enough to practice...

Being new to photography this camera bundle is exactly what I was looking for. The two lenses included in the bundle are perfect for figuring out what style of photography you want to pursue and how to use your camera. It is very easy to use and intuitive. Additionally, I purchased a SanDisk Extreme PRO 32 GB 95MB/s memory card and a Insignia 52mm UV lens filter - clear. The Wifi adapter was included for free with the bundle.
