This was my first camera. I am just beginning so I knew nothing about settings ISO, F-stop, or shutter speed. I started out letting the camera do all the work. After a month or so I began to learn how to get the pictures I wanted by using my own settings. Great camera really takes beautiful picutres.

Up until now I was using Point and Shoot camera but now I am a fan of DSLR. Excellent picture quality!! Only suggestion would be, if you like me moving from Point and Shoot to DSLR, please understand the difference between optical zoom and mm lens. It will help you in selecting the lens.

I bought this camera for my teenage daughters. It's their first "nice," non-phone camera and they absolutely love it! We've taken it lots of places and it's very easy to use; even if you know very little about cameras/photography. Also, the photo-quality is great! I would recommend this as an affordable starter camera for just about anyone!

Love this camera. It's my first DSLR camera ( I finally stepped up into the big leagues) Easy to use (especially for a beginner) In Auto mode, the camera does its thing. In my case, once I am ready to increase my skills I will jump into the manual settings. Having used the camera for some work assignements, I was able to see how well it captured pictures during the day, during a cloudy day, and at night. I read a lot of blogs and reviews regarding cameras and which to buy, and this one popped up a lot, so while that influenced my decision the most, the price of the combo really tipped the scales in favor of this model.

This camera is great and has tons of features for it only being a beginner camera. I added the wireless adapter to go along with the camera and reviewing/downloading pictures is a breeze. I would have gone with the Nikon 5300, but for $200 less I upgraded my lens instead. Love this camera!

I broke my D5500 and needed a new camera fast. I bought the D3300 and love it. It's a little bit of a down grade. My D5500 was about 7 yrs old. The changes made to the cameras throughout the years are great and made the camera easier to use :-) I'm very happy with this camera! :-)

I purchased this camera as a Christmas present for my friend. It has great functions for an entry level dslr camera that does all the things you want it to do. The size of the camera can be slightly bigger, but other than that, it functions well and does what it is suppose to do.

This camera takes outstanding pictures. It is easy to capture crystal clear images that you just simply cannot get from point and shoot cameras. The included 18-55 mm lens is perfect for all basic shooting situations.

This camera is great for anyone, whether beginner or a pro. It's pretty easy to use and take great photos.

We were looking for a digital SLR camera to use for every day purposes and for travel. This camera is lightweight and produces wonderful quality photos. We can leave it on "Auto" mode and snap away OR it has all the features needed to act like a real photographer! We love the Crimson color for two reasons: We are Alabama Crimson Tide fans and, we can put our camera down at a gathering or party and find ours IMMEDIATELY among all the black cameras in a pile! If we were starting all over, might not purchase the big telephoto lens as we have not yet found a use for it--if we get into more wildlife photos, it will be very useful!

Have had the camera for a few weeks. I am very pleased with it. Using it for taking sports pictures of my kids. Shutter speed is sufficient for my needs. It is easy to use. Even my kids are taking great pictures with it.

Looked around for a month before buying this Nikon D3300...just in need to make pictures and videos for my website, I am thankfull for the choice. I got better quality that expected. The search is over...!!!

It did everything I expected including hd video and lots of options for still photos. I have never used a camera with so many options and am getting great results.

I really am happy with my purchase. It takes some getting used to at first, but if you take the time to research online how to use it to it's full potential and read the manual, it'll be worth the price!

Purchased this camera for the wife as surprise gift and she loves it. During football season she took pictures of every player and pictures came out great.

I like that you can auto the camera functions but also like the options that allow you to customize your picture taking. Camera is light weight and easy to grip and hold. Live View function is sweet. The bang for the $$$ makes this camera a really good buy.

I have enjoyed using this camera right out of the box. I have found it easy to use in automatic mode and am slowly learning how to use various settings and features. So far I have been very pleased.

I had 35 mm with all the extras, then things went digital and I started using the point and shoot pocket cameras. I wanted to get back in to cameras and this fit my needs! So far I am very happy!

I bought this camera to take pictures of my newborn daughter and the quality is great! The photos I take of my daughter are amazing and I would definitely recommend this product to others

Bought this camera for my 15 year old beginner photographer. Easy to use. Has everything he needs to get started. Could have purchased a less expensive model but wanted something he can grow into. He loves it and always has it around his neck!
