GREAT CAMERA!!!!!!!!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even for an entry level DSLR it is a fantastic camera. And I am using the kit lenses. With no low pass filter you get crisp photos. I am impressed. EXPEED 4, 24 MP, great VRII and auto focus, and long battery life. I can't wait to get a prime lenses to go with it. I would give six stars.

Amazing camera for the price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using my D60 forever and finally hit a point with new lenses that I needed to up my megapixel game for blowups. I did the research on many different cameras and came to the conclusion this was the right one. I do a lot of animal photography, outdoors, in the sun, and this camera handles everything really well. Great autofocus, lots of different focus points, and with a good lense every picture turns out! I've done some night photography with this as well and with auto-iso and my 1.8g lens this camera is amazing. I wasn't about to spend the extra 200ish for the wifi model with all the same things because I do all my edits on my computer anyways. If you need to upload all your photos to Instagram immediately, then by all means by the next level up. It's the same camera, just w/ wifi. This camera takes amazing photos and doesn't break the bank....saving more money for all the lenses you'll eventually buy anyways.

Great camera with cool features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the D3300 after owning the D60 now for several years. Even though my old D60 still works great, I was tempted by the nice price and the many newer features the D3300 has, and I am glad I did because It has a very fast 5 frames per sec shutter, "Live view" LCD, 1080 nice video, and some pretty cool "effects" features. One of those effects I really like is "Selective cooler" - where you can select up to 3 colors to keep in the photo while the rest is rendered in B&W (and with the Live view, you can see what you'll get before you take the shot). My camera also came with a free Wi-Fi adapter which I have not yet tried, but all the other features produced some pretty awesome 24.2mp photos.

Great beginner DSLR!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always purchased the cheaper digital cameras, the "Point-and-click" models and they were okay. We finally decided we wanted a "real" camera, and one that could take good movies, also. I have never used an SLR-style camera before, so this is a learning experience, but it has been an easy learning experience. The camera makes it fun to try out different settings. It is also very intuitive, and in all honesty, I could just go around with the basic "auto" settings all of the time and end up with great pictures. If you're wanting an entry SLR, you can't go wrong here!

My daughter really likes the camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a graduation present. It has already been put to good use several times, and taken on hikes and used for some great pictures. She will take it to college with her and expects to use it for many years to come.

Love my camera!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have already taken over 300 pictures since I have gotten this camera. I love how easy it is to use and yet how many options are available once you start to experiment with modes and settings. One thing that I wish it had, which it might, I have just may have not found it yet, is the capability of taking time-lapse pictures.

Great Camera for Beginners
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this camera to use for an overseas trip my family and I were to take. Once we arrived overseas my 17 year old son took the camera and became our photographer. The camera was easy for him to use and allowed for him to experiment in a very easy way. He enjoys the effects options, video functions, and the overall ease of use. I would definitely recommend this camera for anyone who is just getting started in photography and is looking for a camera that's easy to use.

Very good camera for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this camera in order to take good scenic and wildlife photos and this camera along with the 70 X 300 mm lens is just the ticket. I also plan on buying a close up lens for this camera.

Nikon has made me better at this.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I bought the Nikon D3300, and the next week, it went on sale with a 55-200 mm lens for $100 more. Returned mine (no hassle, no effort), bought the new one. Been learning online, taking pictures like crazy. I'm a Photoshop expert, so when I want, I can take my few good photos and turn them into something wow. Most impressive, even the "snapshots" on auto modes are dramatically better than anything I've taken in years. We all convince ourselves that our cell phones take great pictures. No they don't. This thing takes great pictures.

Awesome Camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I contemplated buying a DSLR for some time before I finally took the plunge and purchased the NIKON D3300. I am so glad I did! Years ago, back in the day of the SLR such as the AE-1, etc ... photography was my hobby. Now having my NIKON, and having control over things such as depth of field, shutter speed, etc ... taking photographs is much more fun again. Sure beats me cell phone!
