This camera has been awesome!...while it worked. It worked great for the first 2 months but unfortunately it randomly started giving us focusing issues in the middle of our trip to Europe.. Not fun. It is under warranty and Nikon will be fixing it but they are making us pay the shipping to send it to them in case they determine it's our fault. Not happy with this customer service. Hopefully they fix it and everything is all right. The lady did say she's seen this issue with the camera before.

I really like how easy this camera is to use. It takes very good pictures as well.

I asked a professional photographer about a great starter camera for my wife, and he recommended this one. It has all the bells and whistles (and MANY more I didn't even know existed), but I would recommend getting a book about the camera so that you can get the most out of it. It does lack a built-in wifi card, so downloading the pictures is a little more work, but the very low cost and high feature content more than make up for it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone just starting photography and wanting a great learning device.

The camera was a christmas gift and was just given yesterday which is the reason I rated it as a 4 out of 5; we haven't had enough time to see its true potential. Prior to buying this camera, I did extensive research. I found that, on paper, this camera can take better pictures than competitors cameras that are 2 models higher specifically the T5i and S#ny 5 series cameras. The sensor is what makes this camera. I got this camera along with a 55-200 zoom lens. It has taken flawless pictures up to this point. At 8' away, we took a picture of a Christmas figurine with this additional lens and it was unbelievably clear. We are excited to test the panoramic feature which was the main buying point for this over the Nikon d3200. I know it won't be up to par with professional grade cameras but for the average consumer, I expect this to be a great choice.

Have had this camera for almost a year now and have not been disappointed. It seems to perform best in up close situations but is still an all-around great entry DSLR camera.

For an entry level DSLR camera, this is an excellent option. It's one of higher resolution (24 MP) cameras in the price range and that was one of the big deciding factors for me. It came with the basics to get us started - lens, battery, camera body but we have plans to upgrade bigger lens at some point. We took this camera on our honeymoon and have been taking awesome pictures along the way! We love it!

This is a great camera with basic options. I will be investing in lenses and learning dSLR techniques, so I am very happy with this camera. I will update it in a few years if needed after my lens inventory is complete.

Amazing, This is my first DSLR and I have no prier knolage of photography. But am I glad I chose the Nikon D3300. Very easy to use for how amazing your photos turn out! To sumerize, great camera and great for beginners.

I did my research before I bought this camera...the camera is user friendly and the pictures are stunning. The built in guide is what makes it so easy to use. I highly recommend this camera to the first time dslr buyers
