Perfect camera for an upgrade to a "real" camera, without losing the online accessibility of using your phone and uploading pictures. Best of both worlds!

I did a great deal of research before making this purchase and it came down to the Nikon D3300 or the Canon T5. Ultimately I based my decision on the reputation of Nikon. The features of the two cameras were comparable. Time will tell whether I made the right decision.

Recently some friends and I went to a Jazz concert great concert with various lighting accents too set the mood for such a great show with the one and only artist Boney James . My New Nikon 3300 I recently purchased at the North Dartmouth Ma. store captured it all even under some low lighting conditions the trusty flash popped up when needed to help me get those great memorable moments at a fantastic show !

Easy to use, and it's not heavy like the Canons! This is the 2nd Nikon I've purchased in the last 5 years. I did notice that the "flower" mode doesn't work as well as the D60 that I owned. For a beginner, this is the perfect camera, if you have the budget for it.

Sharp pics, easy to use, love it...works great, in different light conditions

The camera is good for someone who want to upgrade from a point and shoot to a DSLR. This camera is not for someone who already owns a DSLR. I got this for my niece and she loved it. The EXPEED 4 processor does awesome job of getting the right tone for all the subjects ranging from humans to objects. The clarity and skin tone that was obtained with this camera made me upgrade from my D90 to D7100. which has EXPEED 3 processor and 24mpx. D3300 also has the swivel screen, which would be an awesome add for trying out various angles. Also the large LCD screen, helps viewing the picture a pleasure and also identify any issues with the photo taken.

This is my first DSLR and it couldn't be easier to learn. I suggest grabbing a camera guide to get a better idea of all features. Great HD video.

I bought this camera as a gift for my wife. She loves it. You can take great pictures right out of the box. She is now taking classes online and she says the camera does all that she will ever need to do.

This camera was purchased for my niece. The camera is fine, but I never received the confirmation email for the year warranty. I have the receipt, but the camera was a gift. It will be a cumbersome of it needs repair in the first year.
