This camera is truly amazing. It is simple to use and really allows photographers to have great pictures without the cost. It also is small enough to be easy to carry around. The camera really is the best, but you still need to be ready to make adjustments in order to prevent grainy images.

As a senior and lagging a bit behind the Digital Age I needed a modestly priced DSLR camera that was easy to take great pics right out of the box. And the Nikon D3300 really delivered. Now after a month of ownership I'm beginning to experiment a bit with settings to see if I can improve on quality. All kinds of sources for help on this are out there and it feels like a great adventure looms ahead. If you're like me, don't hesitate. Go for it. You'll be glad you did.

This camera is fairly easy to use and takes nice photos. It takes a bit of getting used to as it's my first DSLR. I did have some blurry shots at first and also had to get used to having a viewfinder again after many years of solely relying on a screen. I first used this on vacation after my camera broke and jumped right in without reading anything (not the wisest move). You can use the screen to view what you're photographing, but I didn't know that at first. Now I kind of like using the viewfinder. Sometimes it seems a little slow at capturing photos and I didn't have much luck with lowlight or fireworks. But again, this could be to my lack of knowledge.

That is a great product and I really intended to buy that. Great pictures during the day( I have not taken many pictures at night) and it's easy to use. Great product if you're a beginner.
The only problem buying this product open-box was that Best Buy didn't send the charger nor the body cap what at the first moment made me a little bit sad at the seller. However, I went to the store and told to the employees in the customer service about the situation and they gave me other charger.

This is my first DSLR camera and it has been great! The quality is excellent and the options seem endless. There are also a ton of resources out there to ensure you get the most out of your camera. It is lightweight enough to carry hiking too which is a bonus for those of us that love to take photos of the beauty around us.

I have always shot with digital cameras because they are light. compact, and easy to use. I finally made the switch to DSLR with this fantastic camera (which also happens to be light, compact, and easy to use). I highly recommend this camera to anyone new to the world of DSLR or on a budget. I bring it with me everywhere and its diverse features allow me to take pictures of nearly everything I want to, ranging from portraits to nature/outdoors, scenery, etc.

I bought this for my teenage son in the hopes he would gain an interest in photography. He was not thrilled as he had never thought of taking pictures with anything other than a cell phone, but once he finally took his first real picture he loved it. The quality of the pictures is incredible & it is extremely simple to use & set up.

I bought this because I needed a camera that takes better photos than my phone for business purposes. This camera was very easy to learn. Even my non-technical husband was taking great pictures the first time he used it!

Let me start by saying this is a great camera, and a great value. For being a beginner type SLR camera, it is still very adjustable. This camera is very versatile whether one is just beginning with an SLR or more experienced. I like the size and weight of the camera. The button layout and screen make it very handy. Looking forward to using it more in the field once its not so cold here in ND

I have always had a point and shoot (a term I learned researching for a DSLR). Took one on family va-ca's and even to Iraq with me. I have to admit, they suck compared to a DSLR. When it came time to buy one, it was down to a Cannon or Nikkon. I did the research and chose the Nikon D3300 with the 17-55 mm lens and bought an additional 55-300mm lens. I took it home, read the manual, played with it. Im by no means an expert photographer, but Im all my the family has. The shots I have taken were freakin awesome. I always thought it was the photographers that did this stuff, but the camera is the work horse. If your a beginner like me, you can't go wrong with an entry level DSLR. Just know which brand you want to invest your money in, because its a big investment.

After comparing a variety of cameras, I settled on Nikon's D3300. Great bang for the buck in my opinion. The guide mode is especially useful for anybody that is just starting out with this type of camera.
