I know it can take better ones if I knew how to work it like mess with the settings. Overall I liked the camera don't like that the lens makes a sound when recording.

Good start up SLR

If you know how to operate an SLR, then certainly go with 7000 series if you can afford the price. The same lens can do miracles with a better camera and skills.
