Customers are pleased with the camera's quality, ease of use, and affordable price. Many also appreciate its lightweight design and the inclusion of Bluetooth connectivity. While some found the size a bit large and auto focus speed could be improved, the positive feedback on image quality and user-friendliness outweighs these minor drawbacks. The additional lenses are a welcome feature for many users.

I am really happy with this purchase. I took it to my trip to bahamas and got so many great shots. It looks great and is not too heavy and the two lens that came were awesome! Only drawback is it doesn't have wifi. The Bluetooth snapbridge feature is alright. Slight delay in getting the pics to your phone but its still helpful to have. All in all i love this camera.though!

Life has kept me from actually using my new camera but I'm confident it won't let me down. This is my 4th Nikon and all of them have been great as far as ease of use, quality of picture and budget friendly.

I teach photography so I knew what I was looking for when deciding to purchase a camera for my teenage granddaughter. I have always liked the quality of photos that Nikon cameras take and this is no exception. The package I bought comes with two lenses, camera bag, and sd card so there is no added expense.

Me and the wife wanted to learn how to use a DSLR camera. We have no knowledge beyond small point and shoots, so we needed something simple but won't have us needing to upgrade soon. Oh and that wouldn't break the bank. So far this camera has been great to learn the basics of photography. We took a class in town and since it's a fairly popular camera the teacher knew a lot about it. I think we'll be happy with it for a good while. It has all the basic features as every other entry level DSLR. However there are a few amenities that it doesn't have. It's not a touch screen nor does the screen swivel out. Neither of which we felt like we needed. Those features are available on the next model up.

With help from the internet, one can easily learn to operate this camera. It takes really good pictures even on the automatic setting. I did extensive research and comparisons before making my decision. I would say this Nikon definitely tops the Cannon within its class. I highly recommend this camera.

I haven't had enough experience with this camera to give a really accurate review, but at a glance I can tell you it is very easy to use and photos look amazing. It took me a while to justify the cost (considering how great the photos look with iPhone 7), but I believe this camera has its place, especially for action shots and zoom capability with larger lens. The only thing I don't like is how long it takes to transfer photos to the other smart device (especially if you take bunch of shots), it definitely should be faster considering we're in 2017.

I've been shopping for a camera for a while now. When I saw this package deal it was just what I was looking for and the price was right on the money, pun intended. To top it all off it's RED my favorite flavor, OK enough if the puns. Alan my salesperson was Rockin as well. Thanks for the deal.

This was a Christmas gift for my wife as she has been wanting a nice camera for a while. She mostly wants to take pictures of nature as we are out hiking and camping a lot and she wanted to use something better than her phone to take the pictures. Since she has opened this camera she has had nothing but smiles on her face! She has told me multiple times that this camera was very easy to learn and get used to, especially with the online tutorial program that Nikon has that comes with the camera. I would definitely recommend this camera to beginning users who want an entry level DSLR camera for its ease of use and for the quality of images that it produces.

Had all the features I was looking for. Good price. This my wife's first DSLR camera. She has not run it trough the passes yet. We researched several entry level DSLR cameras and continued coming back to this one. Uses Blue Tooth to dump pictures on your phone. have not tried connecting to computer yet. Over-all we are happy with the purchase.

I was looking for a beginner’s DSLR for by burgeoning photo hobby, but didn’t know where to start. I consulted Wirecutter and based on their recommendation, I checked it out in store. The in store associate helped me demo the camera and let know about the different packages that were available (including free class and bag).
The camera is a very intuitive *almost* point and shoot (when using assist mode). The two lenses are easy to attach/remove and zooming is simple. Picture quality is superb (assuming you didn’t mess up the shot yourself), and the cloud bridge service allows you to see your results and edit them immediately.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas. It comes with everything someone starting out would need. The 2 lenses are great and cover just about any beginner need. The bag is very roomy and protects all of the components just fine. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to try photography.

I got the Nikon - D3400 DSLR Camera with AF-P DX 18-55mm G VR and 70-300mm G ED Lenses - Black. I bought it to take good quality photos of the family. It does that and I love that it came with a nice case. I also have a long lens which was a part of the sale Best Buy was offering.

I bought this camera for an early Christmas gift for my son. It's lightweight and takes great pictures. I tried to buy filters for the lens and found that the other Nikon use a 52 mm lens cap but for some reason this is a 55mm. Every thing you find on line has the other NIkon models listed but not this one because of the size difference. I did finally find lens filters to fit but it was more difficult. I camera came with the additional lens 70-300mm which is a 58mm and that was a little easier to find. Don't know if at a later date there will be more out there but now it was tough. My son likes the ability to send his photos to his phone or computer.

Out of the box, you will be taking beautiful pictures that put your new phone's camera to shame. We opted for just the 18-55mm bundle and it is perfect for almost all of the shots you would want (besides the obvious long distance telephoto) and it is a heck of a quality lens.

Despite the full range of features, this camera is intuitive and easy to use. Everything has context sensitive help. This camera has been an absolute joy to use and has never gotten in my way when trying to do something complex with photography, despite being a beginner.

This DSLR bundle is a great value for someone wanting to delve into the world of DSLR photography without spending too much money. We had a large family event the day after I got the camera, so I gambled and used the 3400 even though I had barely begun to get familiar with it. I stuck with the automatic mode and was amazed with the results. Much better than a point and shoot or cell phone camera. I have since begun to learn the features of the camera and am getting even better results. My only complaint thus far is the Snap Bridge Bluetooth app to transfer pictures to your smart phone for social media sharing. It's a little wonky.
